A lot of the other bio's are throwing out "nothing" RNS's. Not always I hasten to add and their SP usually rises over a day or two.
We have not been doing that.
I reckon Sir Al and co know what's coming and therefore don't need to throw out nothing RNS's.
They are biding there time for the big one or two or three........(I hope)
Then we have the cancer play. 2022 is going to be a massive year for Avacta IMO.
I would also hope that we get off the non regulated AIM (come on.....it's is no way regulated) and end up on the FTSE and Nasdaq.

That's what I said yesterday morning wyndrum.
Over the next few weeks there will be negativity found by the media / news sources about the vaccine.
They love a negative story and they will find one or two no matter what. Build you up and then bat you down.
To be honest with you, I think that the vaccine is rubbish.

This vaccine. Over hyped in my opinion which has caused a negative over reaction against the majority of bio stocks. It hasn't been approved yet in the States and that takes 2 months minimum. It hasn't been approved full stop. There will be negative reports about it in the coming weeks IMO.

So nobody saw the 1 buy in the afternoon? There's a 50/50 chance. We'll see.

It has been said many times tonight that we will not be on the list.
Some of you are a dream to the MM's. What do you think they are going to do when they read this board and see that some posters have stated "we are in for a massive fall if we are not on the list"? When we are not on the list then hey presto, a drop - not because of the buys and sells but because of manipulation.

Too many obstacles yet to be tackled.
A lot of ifs IMO.

Very suspicious that the BB's went down at the beginning of the drop until after closing.
Reading this BB would have calmed some of the panic in my opinion.
I for one wouldn't have to check the BBC website for reasons after a lot of the SP damage had been done.
There would have been a discussion about the vaccine on here and a conclusion would have been made by knowledgeable posters. The pro's and cons of the vaccine. Not to panic. Testing is still required.

Forget about the vaccine. Let's find a broker service that works throughout all of the trading day. Especially when you need it to work. I wonder which broker Myles uses :-)

Just out of interest Tilly. Do you have an answer as to why 18 out of 19 gold mining stocks that are on my watchlist are showing as red after the new vaccine news was dropped?
Is it because the price of gold has dropped 4.5% or is it just market manipulation?

Would be interesting to hear if any other broker platforms worked fine today. Can't imagine that there will be many. With the amount of brass that they take on commission, you'd have thought that they would invest some of it on an IT system that works when demand is high. Or did they just turn their servers off for 4 hours? Probably.

Read on a few other boards that Interactive Investor has been fine for trading today.
Thinking of transferring my Halifax Stocks and Shares Isa to them.
I pay £12.50 per trade with Halifax but Interactive Investor charges £9.99 per month + you get a free trade per month + any other trade on the allowable list is £7.99.
You cannot have your broker down for most of the day when the markets react like they have done.
Wanted to buy some Avacta shares at the £1.02 mark - no chance.
Still feel the lock out was orchestrated but what can us PI's do? Nothing.

Halifax have been rubbish.
