Reeves tried to blame Trump before she was contradicted by a Downing Street spokesman. What she forgets is there were 6 months before Trump where the wheels fell off very quickly. What a disaster this government has been already in such a short period of time.

The National Pharmacy Association (NPA) has told its 6,000 member pharmacies in England to start scaling back services from April 1, when a wave of new costs come in.

The NPA said almost all of its pharmacies were considering reducing opening hours, while 93pc plan to cut back on free home deliveries of medicines.

Charities warned that the changes would harm patients and the elderly, with potentially “tragic consequences”.

The changes are being made as pharmacies face a £310m increase in costs as a result of the Chancellor’s decision to raise National Insurance for employers, increase the minimum wage and push through business rate changes. The changes take effect from April.

Nick Kaye, the NPA’s chairman, said: “This is not a step any one of us wants to take, but we have been left with little choice because in just two weeks new business costs will be hitting local NHS pharmacies across the country.”

Buying back shares is a useful way of increasing your share of Lloyds. Loads of companies do it in the UK and in the USA it is the preferred choice for companies instead of dividend payouts. The progressive dividend policy of Lloyds is a result of cancelling shares (profits aren’t increasing). Lloyds has a good dividend yield and shares are being removed from the register. Not sure what there is to complain about.

I’m not so sure. The same fools vote for Labour at every election sadly. Unfortunately the centre right vote got split at the last election. Labour actually polled less votes than the previous general election. What is telling is that 1/4 of Labour voters regret their choice at the ballot box. They are fearful of losing their jobs, whilst Labour destroys the economy with its tax rises on jobs and those with wealth flee the country. Those die hard socialists on here vote Labour because they didn’t stake their claim in the world and want the rest of us to bail them out.
