Amusing watching the leftie drama queens on here. The same ones who claimed the UK had lost £65bn of taxpayers money a week or two back when in fact a tiny fraction of that has been used to buy government gilts which will be sold back at the time of the BoE's choosing. The same ones jumping up and down about tax cuts, who a few days later, were complaining about fiscal drag putting up their taxes. They can't have it both ways but I guess they're too confused to employ any rational thoughts......

A week is a long time in politics they say. Last week Liz Truss was Satan in the eyes of many. People need to give the woman a chance.

After last weeks nonsense, markets have stabilised, Truss has had a good meeting in Prague by all accounts and we are still not in recession, the gutter press have filled their front pages with apocalyptic warnings of power going off for a whole 3 hours this winter.

I despair.
