Sunak will be there till Dec 2024 is my bet. As much as I would have preferred Truss firing up the economy with her astute ideas for growth, Sunak has done the right thing today.

Labour if they are so determined to implement 2030 targets will tax the hell out of the country. Do you really think Joe Bloggs can afford an electric car and a £20k heat pump to jump on board Starmer’s net zero ? At what cost. Oh we all know about how Labour likes to borrow and tax. I’m looking forward to seeing Labour’s plans to have everyone running around in electric cars with £30k heat pumps installed by 2030. We all know how that will be funded……same old Labour, same old taxation policies.

One of Sunak’s better decisions if you ask me. Plant more trees for God’s sake instead of bankrupting the country. 2050 is still the target. Just needs to be done at a sensible pace.
