for what it's worth5 May 2018 11:35
On this wonderful sunny morning Im standing back looking at the situation and here are my thoughts.
The SP is (2.55) dire at the moment and dripping away as it usually does in between news well so what? The SP hit a 7.69 high from a 2p standing start last year on the back of NT2 so good gains are possible on progress and results - thats the nature of any investment beast.
There is a possible farm out in the offing and they are in advanced discussions with a deep pocketed affiliate of the al-zubairs - if this does not come about there is always the last chance saloon option of putting up a farm out to the wider market however if that fails as well I dread to think what effect it would have on the SP however, the possible farm out HAS to succeed as it would also be the main cornerstone investor who will lose out as well as the LTHs if it does not.
A good farm out deal (and I have already named my price) would be in everyones interest it would add to the MC, secure the existing cornerstone and ii investment and drive forward (with enough cash) the drilling, development and ultimately monetisation of the Ruvuma assets.
I do not now at what stage they are at with the 25 yr licence (if there are fences or conditions yet to cross and meet prior to granting) or the most up to date position with KN1 and C1 drill contract but these issues will in time reveal themselves the truth will out inevitably - the fact that the AGM has been put back by a couple of months tells me that they have had a heads up and to make a bit of time for a number of things to transpire and also to allow sufficient time for the farm out details to be ironed out before putting the proposal for shareholder approval which indicates that June / July will be a very important period for things to kick off a fab couple of months ahead
I know this is all old ground trodden over by many posters over many weeks but as far as I am concerned I will continue to top up cheap and slice off high and ultimately sell out once my target price has been reached.
I have no concern over directors salaries or options or anything else as an investor, my mind is fixed on my average and my exit price that is all.
IMHO and DYOR as always
