I agree, as do many i imagine, lost money in HS rail for an island, this only really works in a big continent, and does not help with getting freight of the road, yet Sirius have a project which will earn billions in revenue for the Government, not just through profits direct from the company, but tax receipts from employment direct and indirect as well as UK PLC having a product that the rest of the world wants in abundance as population is increasing and putting UK back on the map to break away from being seen as a country which only provides services, but actual commodities and help to drive the Northern Powerhouse. Maybe its a case that possibly the MPs don't have a self interest in this project.

Sounds like general concensous is to hold on to you Lonmin shares!!?

Being a newbie and somewhat lacking knowledge of the stock market, as it is a sharks game to say the least!!
The way i understand this share is that Lonmin have agreed a sellout to Sibanye-Stillwater at some date in the future, which the price is lower than what it is currently.
Question is, is this the case, or is Lonmin still going to be a separate company and trade as they are know on the stock exchange and we may see a revive in the share price?
I would love to hear the thoughts of those with a better knowledge.

Did CF not at some stage that the project was on time and on budget, while I appreciate that miscalculations can occur, would that not be the fault of the planners!!!
Also, which do we need such a long tunnel, is there not another mine close by that transports the product over land by train!!!!!!

There is not many, if any at all, infrastructure projects (private of national) have been brought in on or on budget in the UK, we had a similar announcement last week, and by christ the "Vanity Project" that is/will be HS2 will be similar and end up crippling us entirely. So nothing new here, as well as the little man being shafted, I guess its a chance for the big boys to top up!!!!!

The brokers are full of ****e, we have just bought in to Russia, this is be influenced by the big money of Russia and watch it there will be some sort of a buy in from Russia, only yesterday EN+ saw profits rise, sanctions, what sanctions, the big boys are doing what they do best, influence the market and sod the small guy, and what for, you can only live on one island at a time and sail in one yacht and drive one supercar!!!!!!

Don't really get this Purchased a mine that ok there are certain sanctions going around,but Trump & Putin and the trade war will be sorted, then they announce a dividend, short sellers should be shot,they make life shit for us near mortals who cannot be fixed to the screen and message boards all day!!!!!!

Below is lint to the Mining Journal, where it was announced on 19/02/18 of KAZs intentions and also that it has potential to become a Tier 1 mine, so surely all this was factored in to the share price before today, giving good value to the company and looking forward it has potential assets to boost its price further.

Abromovich, while being involved with selling it, I feel is using the market to manipulate the price of KAZ so that h can get a hand in it for cheap, after all he is heavily involved with EVRAZ I belive and look what has happened to that share price over the last year.
The above aside, this is the work of the large MM, as how is it a share can drop as it has in one day after announcing that you have purchased a mine that is cheaper to get the material out of than other mines and the commodity that you are mining is going to be in short supply. Sanctions on Russia will in time be lifted or at least eased.

Slightest bit of good news of even a 1% divi would help to advance to FT100, which should help the share price advance somewhat better than is know and become more stable, along with the inclusion that dividends are here to stay for the foreseeable!!! Or am I expecting to much?

When will this rot stop

This company is a text book example of private firms taking on large amount of public contracts which are skinned to the bone, with very little profit margin and sub contractors putting in real prices/estimates, somewhat a bit like in other sectors, where the work/pricing is calculated by pen pushers!!!!

Bit of a big drop and totally in some respects out of the blue considering all the good news we keep hearing and are expecting!!!!! SHORTERS!!!!!

By the sounds of it there is lots on here that bought in before it was terribly shorted, hopefully we are over that and a diveidend return and promotion to the premiership will help us along to the days of £15 a share!!!! Realistically would be happy at £10-12, as I imagine others would as well

Looking at this tip reminds me of the schiesters/crooks that shafted so many ESSAR Energy shareholders that watched the share price fall and bought it back on the cheap, with the PIs thinking the same thing that OPG is tipped for, that being that India is so short on power supply it has to be a good punt!!!

When are we to expect the dividend in the post?
