I have received a letter from Oilex (All Registry Communications to: Link Marketing Services Ltd, Locked Bag A14, Sydney South NSW 1235 Australia) about Share Retention and whether i want to sell my shares or hold on!!!!!
Is this a scam or genuine and if genuine what have other done?

As a man that talked a good talk, but didn’t walk a good walk, except for his own kind and pocked, somewhat like SS.
Saying that we needed a DL, as flannel is what you need to get to where you want to.
Just watched a bit of a clip of DL in 2016, it certainly sounded believable, but there seemed to be a lot of Politician waffle, with little facts.
If there is gas there, what are wrong with the greenies, they need there houses heated, same as the rest of us and with them being more middle class these days than of old, surely this is it going to happen over nigh, we are still as a wold trying to get jabs in to people to protected them from COVID-19. Global warming and dealing with it is on such a larger scale, also, do they think the developing nations are going to listen to climate change, I fear not.
They are spending 110% of efforts in trying to go green over night, instead of actually dealing with the problem, so that the world can still function and that is a constructive and elementary way of dealing with the carbon.
There are billionaires who fly to outer space know, because they can, and what they cost in carbon is massive, why don’t they spend there wealth on ways of trying to capture it, so that we all can carry on as normal. Jeff Bezos has large warehouses in the UK where there are generators belching out fumes, to provide electricity to huts for security, and power there electric vans, how is that right or making sense. Like it all, the small man is the one that is penalised, look at the carrier bag scenario in supermarkets, why are we not provided with a paper bag, problem solved, it’s easier to charge us another stealth tax, we bend over and take it all!!!!!

Not sure what this fellow got this knighted for, he got paid handsomely to do a job, which he had plenty of others around him advising him, had load ofttimes of due to stress (HAHA - wouldn't we all like a chance to have that sort of a break as life to the normal neanderthal is stressful), then gets an honour from the Queen for her birthday for his services to the financial sector - Lloyds share price still languish doldrums!!!!!!
I always said that the honours list is a joke as it mainly honours those that are paid well for a job that they are doing and not those that go above and beyond. The only recent one that deserves is Marcus Ashford, who came from nothing, wanted to give something back and is a genuine down to earth guy!!!!

To all the sad muppets that voted to sell, my commiserations to you, that you were willing to sell yourselves short and not wait for another offer or the price to nudge higher to what levels they were previously.
All you have to do is look at other miners, AA/Antofagasta all on the march, same as Evraz, higher know that before the Pandemic and even halved in price through the Pandemic, and low and behold, owned by similar people, this was a chance for the small boys to gather together to get the best return, but then the individuals involved could possibly be so devious, we would get shafted anyway!!!!!

I see a good day for some miners, but alas not for us, it sounds like to me that we are being conned as small S/H again and feel that we have to hold tight, as copper and other mining will play a big part of the world coming out of the covid 19 mess it is in and to drive infrastructure forward, although the last post worries me a bit, if they delist we loose the lot, but surely that would be against trading rules!!!!!?

What is the view of the wise, as in 2018 it was up to over£10 for a whiled between 2006 and 2008 fluctuated between £10 and £15 and same between late 2009 and 2012, is it a case the small investor getting shafted again?

And to add insult to injury, we are not able to offset the loss made on this investment if invested in an S&S ISA against any other CGT of any other investments. I cannot really understand the government with this one, they have wasted more money on a railway that has not even been built yet, and some some wonder will it, and if so when, yet this investment would have placed money in the treasury from all sides for many years to come, AAL are not wanting to buy a lame duck!!!!!

Not much to be said, except that the board should be held up for misleading the shareholders, drawing of big salaries yet knowing what was going on in the back ground, recently offering us all shares in order to get more capital but by them time possibly to find another suitor while there is work going on in order to continue to build the mine. These guys along with other boards who take the small investors money yet benefit themselves should be held to task. At the endow the day, they looked after themselves, in more ways than one, after all, correct me if i am wrong, the shares that they have, would not have been purchased with there pension fund, like a lot of us I am sure!!!!!

Is anyone aware of what sort of activity is happening at the mine, does it seem to be ramped down or at the same pace. Is there anyone on here that provides services for the workers, what are they say?????????

The CEO purchases £250000 worth of shares, a brokers says its a buy, will someone please explain, these are normally considered good signs, but in this case who knows.

While we are wasting time moaning on here we could be lobbying the Boris, as there may be a small chance he is not aware of it and it hasn't got a past the desk of some Whitehall Neanderthal, after all there is an ex Labour MP on the board (Lord Hutton), so they may not be willing to help, although it could be a kick in the teeth to Corbyn if they did.
So instead of sweating on here, put it to good use and email. Having seen the posts on here, there are some good narrators who would put up a convincing argument to back a world class project.
Yes I am one of the 85000 that stand to loose a tidy sum, so II have already lobbied him, so put your best finger forward and see what we can do, otherwise the Chinese or the Middle East will eat it up!!!!

Instead of averaging down i call it dumbing down in companies like this as us like people know nothing compared to what the big boys are aware of!!!!!

I would like to have the same level of faith as you donotpanic, although this will happen, but I believe at the expense of us 85000 odd small shareholders, the main beneficiary of this is big money, not us, wait and see

It has been said that CF doesn't have much experience of running a mine and Sirius Minerals is not a mining company as yet, although they have a world class product that is required (with forward sales already in the bag) as the population of the world is forever increasing who need food, people are trying to go away from synthetic fertilisers, we have a natural product in a mine that has a lifespan of 50 years, which may be along the same lines of the initial prospect of the North Sea, but yet we seem to be happy to moth ball such a project or sell out to forge in investors, what f...... planet is UK PLC on. While i appreciate the govt is not there as a backer of industry, but they helped out the banks, they helped to create the current climate and lack of confidence in UK PLC by creating BREXIT and wasting the best part of nearly 4 years, billions in the process, taking there eye of the ball in running the country, and generally thinking of there own self gain and short term picture!!!!

£7.5 billion so far wasted to not lay a rack so far, yet wouldn't invest in a project that will directly give just as good a return as satisfaction to more!!!!!!
