RE: short term SP17 Oct 2020 12:07
.... as is stated below by elir the Greenland assets on their own are worth many times the current MCap. The problem is (or was) the previous leadership had no direction... no money to develop the assets and therefore they never got any real value as reflected in the share price. As I put on here a couple of weeks back I didn’t invest here when we had(firstly) part of a disused Gold mine, before shredding more confetti to buy the other half.
Dowgate (or was it WH Ireland?) did a valuation with guide prices on the share price of figures like (low) 8p 11p mid and 14p best case. It flickered the share price briefly then just started its long meander downwards, with nothing much happening but a wage bill. The wage bill supported by further and further raises.
Initially the gold mine I thought just a justification of them doing something, but what I feel it has done is get focus on the stock, in turn generating good volume and therefore if little else were the findings not as commercially spectacular as we all hope, then Alba is at least a company ... many have heard of and not just one of those names that appears regularly on the risers and fallers board that nobody actually knows what they do and never do very much other than fleece ‘mug punters’
Worth any of you looking up those broker forecasts they will be under the old RNS ‘s from 2017/18 era (or maybe earlier) .... just try not to look at how many times we’ve watered down the price with ‘raises’
