RE: The next 12 months...2 Jan 2021 11:52
...that’s fine to disagree naprhman .... and I respect yours and other views.
I know what worked for me and through the mid nineties to 2000 and up to probably 2014 I sank wages into a portfolio of maybe 60k which traded as high as ninety and back to seventy five with with the odd spike, when I would take money out. I bought in here at 0.72 ... it went back down I reread then.b.b. I bought more at 0.57/58 and again in the 0.60’s ...when we were in the two’s people strarted mentioning (whatever tower in Dubai ?... rockets) straight lines so I’m afraid I see red lights. That’s no reflection AT ALL on Ufo and what it has and a share price it will become. With 400,000 although missing the top I sold at 2.90 2.75 2.40. .... when I probably was left with 120,000. ... at 1.70 it seemed to turn and got back very quickly to 2.00 without any news and FOMO got me a small buy in the 1.90’s. As we drifted a floor seemed to appear and at 1.40 I started buying back all those I’d lost and brought my little nuggets back into the fold. I never thought I’d have a 1.03 1.07 1.12 range type of purchase price, but was delighted at 1.23 still buying back, but now with slightly over a million with it all good to go again I fail to see how ‘For me’ certainly that hasn’t been the right approach.
I wasted money on Alba drifting around with lifestyle company but at 0.08 with a couple of million 0.13 a load more I’m in clover.
I have buys in the millions at 0.18 and at 0.21 in EQT which have turned out to be transformational... but my average had been 1.09 if I’d bought and held I’d have eventually five years on doubled my money, as it is I will be able to choose to work when I want ..... none of that would have happened if I bought and held.
Each to their own and good luck to everyone....don’t be afraid to trade a few ... but when it runs out of steam as any rising share will, if you sell some ... don’t say goodbye ... just make sure you buy em back ... with UFO particularly.
