I've read all through every day on these boards. Let's face it no one has a clue what the price will be after results. £3 , £1 who knows. Either way it's going to be a big move imho. The shorts still seem confident no big reductions ahead of these results. A total gamble here now not a steady investment that's for sure!

Dogger maybe look at selling half b4 results. If they double your better off. If they tank you can buy back cheaper. This is only my opinion and not advice ok

Yeah true. I've been looking at 2 shares I was going to invest in around 4 - 6 weeks ago CYBG and ASOS both up cica 40% . Oh well I picked the boobs prize in Metro!! Haha let's hope we get out of trouble this week....

The chart for the last 5 days on Google looks like a classic shorters share. 2.20 to 1.95 shaving off average 5 points per day. It's like steady then drops like 2 - 3 %.

Don't agree with that article. How can you value Metro on the same PE basis as mature banks. Yes earnings may be flat for the short term but it's a growing business and who knows what will happen on a possible bid too? It was definately overvalued at multiples of the current price but around £2 different story?

The ADVFN crew are quoting price of £1.55 after results. I'm holding but not confident at all.

Dogger69 not sure I believe you've lost £35k. You've only had like 64 posts on LSE. But if you have and sell out now to crytalise that loss how do you live with that if they surprise the market and they go up 50% ?? Not advice just saying. IMHO
