i don't normally post on these boards just read and consider the comments made for and against trying at the same time to avoid the rampers
however i do think that the point that is being made by G G G is very valid and being missed by other posters.
THE DIRECTORS are employees of the company that is owned by the shareholders. They run the company for the benefit of the existing shareholders, Not for themselves or any prospective shareholders .
THE DIRECTORS must not treat any 1 class of shareholders differently. They must not oppress minority shareholders.
MISS ANNA GREY suggested that PI,s were merely tools that the company used for funding, How wrong is that assumption and perhaps indicates the thought process of the board
it is absolutely clear that the BOD have not treated all of the existing shareholders fairly with this latest transaction, they will have got some fancy lawyer to look over the way in which it was done to make sure it scraped over the threshold as being legit but don't try telling anyone it was fair or legal as it wasn't
will it be a good deal long term? probably but the BOD need to tread carefully and not disregard the interests of PI's as they have rights and the BOD have fiduciary duties
