Ben Richardson, CEO at SulNOx, confident they can cost-effectively decarbonise commercial shipping. Watch the video here.
So, negative German growth for the first half of fiscal 2025 with a bit of mitigation thrown in but "decent" growth in 2026.
This big old tanker ain't turning anytime soon it would appear but I guess if the SP is suppressed the billions of buy backs will be greater. Have a great weekend everyone.
The two recent director purchases as shown below, at least show that some people in the know are fairly confident, a good sign I think.
I wonder if daniel's impending ISA purchase on Monday will show up on the list, Robleo & I have long suspected that dan is a VOD director, ha!
27 Mar 24 - Buy - Van Boxmeer @ 69p - Shares brought - 823,500
18 Mar 24 - Buy - Luka Mucic @ 69.64p - Shares brought - 2,460,000
After reading through the recent pathetic, childish rubbish (he stopped posting at about 20 to 1 in the morning) so I thought I’d start a new post entitled “HOW TO DEAL WITH IDIOTS” (Longtimeidiot) so hear goes …
1) Do not argue with them - Because they are idiots.
Feel free to add additional reasons
My old mum used to say to me & my brother "Stop fighting or I'll knock your heads together".
Are you two listening?
Whatever the argument the SP here is depressed, the market ain't convinced & no amount of buybacks will get it moving short term.
Only profits will do that & they will mostly come from Germany, if they don't the SP will continue to decline, simple as.
Planners are at last taking house builders to task, it's about time. Where I live in the South West PSN have just finished a large development & want to start another close by & in the same planning / council area with 1400 homes. On the first development they promised all sorts, Dr's surgery, playgrounds, road improvements, cycle paths etc etc but when the building was completed they reneged on everything saying they didn't have the money. This is a very common tactic & one that pi**es everyone off including the people who brought the shoe boxes. They also change the plans to their advantage after permission has been granted so they can build more profitable homes at the expense of social housing etc. It is now proposed that the development of 1400 homes which has outlining permission is now going to be changed to 1800 so they can fit in smaller little houses, it's no wonder the locals are objecting.
Jesteh I disagree the Muppet is less than amusing but I take your point as to replying to the sad fools comments. Therefore the Muppet child is now on ignore for myself & I will therefore now refrain from pointing out the obvious about this sad, pathetic individual.
Lastly, his mis-spelling which he thinks is amusing is for some reason only on this board, not others he posts on, that says a lot.
Avocet & others who respond to the Gutter Muppet should know that his opinions do not matter in the slightest & no-one with any intelligence takes any notice whatsoever of anything he ever says. Today’s pathetic, inaccurate comment by the bed sit Muppet clearly shows this. A 100% Muppet.
In answer to your question on 20 March Gazza ... obviously not.
Anyone investing here has SERIOUSLY got to ask themselves can I afford to lose all of my investment because it's a distinct possibility ... AIM = Gambling.
Forensic, the muppet that you refer to has nothing better to do. It's either sit in his bed sit all alone staring at the damp walls or posting pathetic, childish comments on boards like this under different pseudonyms. (He'll have to look that one up in the dictionary as his amoeba size brain won't know what pseudonym means).
Back to VOD & the question about next Feb's dividend. If it assists total dividends for the current year, which includes Feb 2025 are expected to remain at 9.0c per share but then reduce to 4.5c per share from the new financial year (Apr 6 2025 on) with an aim to grow from that base. If correct that should calm the nerves of income investors & give a bit of breathing space to the many pension funds etc who hold here for dividends. Anyone buying shares now atb he current SP will still get a dividend of 5.65% after the 50% cut, none too shabby. Good luck all.
Andy, the RNS says ... "the Board has determined to adopt a new rebased dividend from FY25 onwards" (Note FY25) So I read this as being the interim dividend due in Feb 2025 will be at the higher rate & the FY25 dividend payment, due Aug 2025, is the lower dividend start point. No doubt I will be corrected here if I am incorrect. As an aside fellow holders I am personally fairly happy with what has transpired. I like the focus on concentrating on areas of possible growth & only time will tell if this is working, good luck all.
Kay & Lican, this was all clearly explained in the notification. The FY24 final dividend of 4.5c will be declared on 14 May with the FY24 results and paid on 2 Aug 2024. Then we are into FY25 with the rebased dividend. So, in a nutshell we are good for August as before, change to the lower dividend thereafter UFN.
We all know how rich companies like Netflix, Amazon etc have got partially by streaming via 4G & 5G whilst tech companies have developed & maintain the systems. Yes tech co’s earn according but are the aforementioned users obliged to cough up? Or have tel co’s missed a trick? Nice rise going on since my 66.6p purchase, good luck all.
Moneybox, I hope that you are correct in that this will head back to 60 some time in the future, I brought 101 last week at ÂŁ49.75. Am quietly confident though !!!
A few weeks ago when I was doing some research you mentioned mining funds paying around 7% annually.
A quick question to all here is & I would be grateful to know what particular funds I should be taking a look at, thanks in advance.
LTi - Top up as you said on 4 March "At a little over 2884p"
I cannot understand why anyone would do this a few days before the budget when it was common knowledge that the UK chancellor was going to hammer tobacco, as he does every year.
Brought at 2884, now it's at 2285 a few days later ???
