Didn't realise that Cenkos have an office less than a mile from my house. Might pop round for a chat hahaha
Wonder if I will have a reply before I go.
Hi, I am a private investor in Maple Energy PLC and was wondering if you could give me some information regarding the current situation of the company? I have read the previous few regulatory news statements released by the company and it is clear that the company is in need of funding from external investors. I was wondering if you could answer any or all of the following questions? Keeping within AIM regulations of course. 1. How desperate is the need for funding? i.e. how long can the company continue to operate without funding? 2. Are the current loan obligations secured against the ethanol side of the business, the oil/gas side of the business or both? 3. If the ethanol side of the business was to cease running would I still have a holding in the oil/gas business? 4. Vice versa if the oil/gas side of the business was to cease running? 5. The extension that was granted by the senior lenders on 25th November 2014 has now lapsed, did we meet this obligation? 6. What are the directors currently doing to solve the problems we currently face? Please be as specific as AIM regulations allow. Yours Faithfully
The same question yesterday on here. If no one can can answer then I am going to try and find an email address and ask the question.
My take is, the directors are no mugs. They would not have rejected most recent deal if they thought there was a chance they could lose all the money they have invested. It may or may not take time but we will definitely see much higher levels than we are currently at.
The oil and gas side valued at? If in fairytale land the ethanol business is closed down and assets go to senior leader, we then have a debt free oil and gas business worth a lot more than th current sp. Or am I completely blinkered.
I want to disagree with that statement but I am doing exactly the same thing lol.
But if it did happen and the assets were sold, would we receive what was left after all the creditors were paid? Surely the oil/gas business will not go into admin too? Do we own both sides of the business? Are the loans only secured against ethanol business? I am not selling either way. Happy to take bad news on the chin. Really think something will pop up and we will all be glad we held.
Haha.
Actually looking to top up if it drops a little more.
Value the company at more than the 1.85p that has just been paid.
The 5 days expired yesterday, did we pay the senior lenders what they are due? I think we will see another RNS today outlining terms of some sort of deal. God knows what though.
Start selling tomorrow I will definitely top up below around 1.7p. Would rather a deal was doña and we all make some money though.
Probably right, they would be bigger if leak. Why buy £20 with of shares though. Even with an execution only broker you will need ~33% rise to make any profit.
Another one right behind it though. News leak?
At 2.65p coming through. Hope it's a big one.
25th, 26th, 27th, 28th, 1st & 2nd are all working days. 5 days straight would have been Sunday. It is from the 25th not the 27th when the RNS was released.
Like today to me?
On 25 November 2014 the Company received a waiver from the Senior Lenders in respect of the payment obligations under the existing loan agreements for a period of five days.
Be paying our loan today? 5 working days since extention. We should at least get some news today saying if it has been paid or not. May even get a little bump up in sp if we have met our obligations.
