As long as it stops dropping chippyjo I would agree but if not then at what point would you consider selling if you haven't already sold some? In any equity it's recommended to take profit when the chance arises. I feel that some holders may be encouraged by some posters here to hang on to shares that are losing value on the premise that they're almost guaranteed to go up again. There's no guarantees in this game. Don't get me wrong I want this to succeed as much as anybody and still think it will. BTW we've all got a right to an opinion without being insulted.

I believe we touched 90p and spent time in the 80s and 70s. We're now in the 60s. A significant reduction in SP. If you bought in the high 70s or low 80s which a lot have done it might be a bit disappointing so far!

I can't believe any shareholder would not be perturbed by a 20 % drop or as SuperStarr suggests that it would be irrelevant. What nonsense. I've learned the hard way that there's no guarantees in this game. It's all very well talking about £1 and£1.50 SP but it won't get there by going down 15 or 20% whether that's over a week or a year. No, what we need to get there is persistent SP rises. I hope AB and AFC can deliver the golden goose and I believe it will happen but I don't know fot certain. I do know that persistent SP reductions inevitably sap confidence and create doubt. Anyone who suggests otherwise is either not being candid or has lost the plot.

Fair point Aim. Maybe my expectations are not realistic given we're still at an early stage in the deployment of our disruptive tech into an emerging market. I did sell previously in the mid 70s (76 to be precise) but felt forced to due to the constant pull backs, which were making me nervous. I've bought back in with less this time so as to be more relaxed. Not sure it's working! Will add more if we get a positive update.

That's all true Bumble but on each occasion when the SP surges, we always seem to end up heading back down at some point after out pourings of optimism that we're finally on the way to true commercialisation. I know if we can achieve that goal we'll all be very happy campers but clearly getting there is going to be fraught. I guess I need to be more patient.

What's irritating is AFC's inability to sustain a SP above 70p. We were all hopeful around the Christmas period of getting to a £1 so for me these repeated and significant pull backs are disappointing. If you believe AB and everything that's to come the SP should be much higher but it isn't! That's irritating as ultimately we're all here to make money.

We're on the slide again. All the pipeline news doesn't seem to be enough to protect the SP. Hopes of £1 are getting fainter. Looks like more news is needed to keep any upwards momentum. Something on AlkaMem would be most welcome or what about Juhlich and Acciona. We're supposed to be in the green zone i.e. right time, right place, right product. Come on AFC!

Good point Colne but solar technology only works when the sun shines i.e. during the day. Fuel cells can operate 24/7.

Above is an excerpt from AB's blog of 28th January where he mostly enthused about the completion of the FC for EE. He also took the opportunity to remind us as per this quote, of the work still ongoing to prepare units for Acciona and Juhlich as well as progression of the S cell and AlkaMem, finishing with a heavy hint that more news might be imminent in these areas with his stay tuned comment. If one takes him at face value, there should be more news soon. I hope so as the SP needs a boost.

Thinking logically, it would seem almost obvious that AFC will be selling FCs in the UAE which is swiftly gaining a reputation for innovation and the deployment of cutting edge technology. Why else would they set up their main manufacturing facility there if not to be close to expected contract deliveries in UAE and the wider Middle East.

I was initially curious why AFC chose BK Gulf in the UAE as our main manufacturing partner as I felt that skills and know how in the UAE moght be inferior to the UK. I was heartened however to see their successful deployment of a probe into Martian orbit yesterday and to hear of their magnificent progress in vaccinating their population against Covid. They're up there with Israel. Clearly I underestimated the UAE and have now changed my view on the BK Gulf deal accordingly. Great choice.

The quote above is taken from the RNS announcing our involvement with BK Gulf and clearly states when orders will be placed i.e. In 2021, this year! As you can read the Acciona order will probably be their first for delivery. I suspect BK Gulf are currently working on and hopefully completing this order as I type. The multiple orders bit, also for2021, suggests we should hear something significant in that direction very soon.

Thanks Chippyjo but I think they always look better on LSE. I like the suspense of waiting for them to appear. Sad I know!

London South East malfunctioning again. No trades shown after 15.13 so we won't see the big after market trades.

AFC should be heading for £billion Market cap with this news and the anticipated media exposure it will give. The tech has been validated which should usher in lots of commercial orders. Seems crazy that the SP s tanking.

Brilliant effort by all at AFC. Well done. Sods law that we've been caught in a sector down swing. Should be flying today. Topped up first thing. Must've jinxed it!

I guess so but their discounts have always been considerable. If they were committed to the company longer term it would be better but I guess they're just interested in a quickish profit. It would be good to get an ii on board who's happy to go long, which would build more confidence.
