Vodafone has only increased its market cap once in the last 10 years, in 2017 and lost all the gains in 2018. It's been dropping ever since. I'm beginning to think that it's in terminal decline based on its atrocious track record. Maybe it is "cheap" for a reason as some have alleged. The current management are certainly not making any tangible progress towards a recovery, which is very disappointing given Margherita's promises of a turnaround upon taking up her post as CEO. She really has been a disaster.

Bond has been blowing smoke up shareholders a**** since the Dunsfold to Dundee dash and is still doing it in a desperate attempt to keep his gravy train on track. The guy has absolutely no scruples.

No company could be so unlucky as to lose all those potential contracts. There's clearly something else at play.

Apart from RR robleo, which I sold to buy this s***! Tufan Erginbilgic seems to be the only CEO who sticks to his word and actually delivers, unlike our current incumbent. She's been in post for over a year and delivered nothing but a declining shareprice and numerous broker downgrades.q

Let's hope the recent takeover rumours turn out to be true. At the current rate of progress it looks like the only route for shareholders to claw back their losses. It seems that the market, aided by pessimistic brokers, is determined to keep the SP down in the 60s (hopefully not the 50s) until VOD starts significantly growing its income and with the German economy bombed out, that could be years! It's such a depressing share to be in.

The interest rate reduction will hopefully give the Chinese and Hong Kong bourses a boost which should in turn help Prudential. I'm holding for Barclay's predicted 1640p shareprice!

The market seems unimpressed with Bond's pathetic ramblings. We're all wise to him now. You'd think listening to him that this company was on the verge of greatness. It's all pie in the sky of course. No mention of ABB either. Says it all.

Does anyone make money on Aim anymore? The whole thing stinks to high heaven. How can Cheek get away with predicting all manner of short term positives for none of them to materialise? Today's RNS is pathetic. Maybe Cheek should join Budd and eff off. I now fully expect this to be taken private for peanuts. It's probably been the plan all along.

The longer this goes on the more ridiculous Haggis' rants become. He, along with others on here, have been apologists for Bond for far too long. At least Jimmynan has the good sense to remain silent after his latest prediction for a big uptick in the autumn, following lots of good news, crashed and burned. Do these people not see the bleeding obvious i e. commercial failure to date or do they deliberately ignore it?

If it does fail, Bond should be held to account, no question but is that feasible? Some Aim CEOs seem to be able to get away with grossly exaggerating the prospects of their companies to the detriment of unsuspecting investors, who end up losing large sums of money. So far Bond has failed to deliver on any of his predictions so he's either been lying or is completely incompetent. If it's the former and the company fails, you'd think the FCA would show an interest.

Looks like Cheek has been stringing us along. He's Budd mark 2. At least it sounds like he's expecting GDR to still be around in October to benefit from this application, but god knows how!

Here recently in the hope of doubling my money! Barclays seem confident, having given a recent overweight assesment with a target price of 1640p. I'm hoping the Chinese print more money to make the year of the Dragon a bumper year for their economy and stock market helping Pru in the process.

I take your point bright. There is still a chance that I'm completely wrong and things are about to suddenly start happening. I guess it's the FOMO of missing out, should that happen, that keeps me here. Mad I know!

I doubt any institutional investors would be willing to invest in this Mickey Mouse outfit again with its track record of failure. Unless they start selling something soon I don't see AFC being around in 2 year's time or even less if their spending on the Cracker etc. and Bond's wages continues unabated. I've often wondered how a Heath Robinson outfit like AFC could ever have been considered a world leader as they often claimed to be. AlkaMem is a case in point in that AFC were seemingly relying on university researchers to come up with the product as I suspect the level of complexity required to perfect it, was beyond AFC's in house capabilities. Unfortunately, for AFC it's also proved to be beyond Professor Varcoe's team. The longer this goes on the more convinced I am that even now after all the years of bluster to the contrary, they still don't have a commercially viable product. I guess we'll know soon as the end of year report looms. You can run but you can't hide!

I think Anne's fantastic research, especially the explanation of the different TRL stages, clearly demonstrate that AlkaMem was never going to be commercially viable in any reasonable timescale if ever, yet AFC continued to suggest otherwise. Bond's Holy Grail comments etc. created great expectations, which moved the market for a while until the truth became clear. It's all smoke and mirrors here I'm afraid and the market knows it.

The Vod investments in German off shore wind farms and Greek 5G reported today show that VOD are certainly giving it a go. 🤞
