Maybe they're expecting it to go lower. After all that's all it ever does even in a normal market. There's clearly something fundamentally wrong with JD that we don't know about. How can a profitable company's shareprice constantly underperform to such a degree?

Despite all the recent hype, the SP is back where it started. Ed Milliband is not going to save us, we need commercial progress for that but unfortunately it's not forthcoming atm. Tbh, for the first time in a while, I'm feeling a bit negative about our prospects. The lack of disclosure of the S&P partner is becoming annoying and I believe harming JW's credibility. He should either tell us who it is or explain why he can't. The longer the mystery continues the higher the chances that we'll never know and it will quietly be dropped as per ABB, which Wilson admitted he'd never heard of in the recent investor presentation! It's back to hoping for the best here with everything crossed 🤞

Hope you're right Pat. RR way off today too so I'm guessing the aerospace sector is out of favour due to the potential downturn in air traffic and probably more supply side problems. Unfortunately, I think this has turned into a long-term hold. It's never been a market favourite at the best of times. With hindsight I wish I'd held off as this war is looking like it might drag on.

Let's hope the identity of the S&P 500 constituent is known before the investor meeting. If JW reveals the name "soon" as he said he would, I'll be impressed and fully back onboard. Conversely, not doing so will only sow doubt in my mind as to the credibility of the BOD and the expected roadmap to sales. No more gaslighting as per Adam Bond!

Don't forget it's been proven time and time again that socialism doesn't work, yet, given the opportunity, its proponents keep trying to foist it upon us knowing that it's doomed to fail. Already we can see that Labour's socialist policies are damaging the economy i e no growth, higher unemployment, higher tax burden, higher and more expensive debt, overregulation and still Reeves has the audacity to gaslight the public to try to pretend to them that her plan is working! And don't forget they only got 33% of the votes so don't really have a strong mandate despite their huge majority. Depressing times!

I don't believe the three amigos would be committing large amounts of capital into this if it was going to be diluted further. That would be stupid, so my guess is that they're super confident that something transformational for the company is going to take place, which involves a large increase in revenue. What other reason would all three be investing for? And if they are not working together, then this is proof that three skilled investors have all independently come to the same conclusion in regards to GDR i e. it's a very good investment. Just my take but what other logical reason could there be to justify such large investments?!

Maybe if we'd given Liz a bit more time and support we'd be much better off now, Winstanley. What's not to like about lower taxes both personal and corporate, producing your own oil and gas and freeing up employers from excess regulation. Sounds to me like a recipe for economic growth. And don't forget the bond yields are higher now than under Truss! Reeves is an unmitigated disaster but because the MSM are on her side, she doesn't get exposed. Wait for the IMF bailout. It's coming!

This ideologically driven Labour government that boasted about growing the economy must be the most incompetent in history. What chance to businesses like JD stand when trying to trade profitably in an overregulated, over taxed environment such as the one these Labour clowns have created. Anybody buying at these prices? I can't see this improving until the oil in the Gulf is free to transit the SOH. Unfortunately, I'm now locked in like many others, I'm sure but if we do get an easing of the oil embargo this should bounce hard. Those with the courage to add might be handsomely rewarded. Mind you it's not just MRO in this predicament, it's a sea of red out there! It seems like investors have had to deal with an unprecedented number of global shocks since the 2008 crash. After years of waiting one starts to reasonably think 🤔 if the much hoped for commercial success is even achievable. Let's be honest here, we've been going round in circles for years with the only people making money being employees and directors with previous board incumbents such as Adam Bond milking the company dry at the expense of shareholders. Does anyone remember the "holy grail" tosh he to spouted to describe AlkaMem which turned out to be useless? I really think AFC was a scam company under Bond. Not shorting, Fuel, just disappointed that we aren't yet hearing of real sales. I like the fact JW and others are invested but they also get well remunerated let's not forget. It all sounds like the beginning rather than the end of a journey to commercialisation. 20 years and counting!

I've known companies having these investor presentations in the past that are now no longer trading. I went to a couple of them. Everything sounded great but it was all BS in the end.

Robert English going for it big time. One wonders if this is a coordinated effort with Messrs Nugent and Medlock and if so what's the end game. It would be very disappointing if they were attempting to take the company private but on the other hand it might be that they've all independently seen great value to be had here as a PLC. Maybe they foresee the shareprice in double digits before too long. Now that would be something!

The fact that Messrs Wedlock, English and Nugent are putting large amounts of their own money into GDR must surely be a confirmatory signal that there are much greater times ahead and a much higher shareprice! Has this become a no brainer investment?!
