I think you'll find its AFC's malign behaviour that keeps repeating, Escala i.e building up investors' hopes of great things ahead, only to disappoint every time. This is done deliberately and BTW, there's nothing to research or report here until AFC comes clean as to what is actually going on. Anything else is pure speculation. The one thing they are consistent on and it should be called out, is not fulfilling their promises. Anyway, you're only here because your old man was given a tip about AFC from one of his city mates. With fellow Belfast company Spirit aerospace potentially in trouble H&W's survival is more critical than ever. NI is still emerging from the effects of a 30 year civil war so the survival of it's 2 largest employer's is critical. If they were to close or even be vastly diminished the effect on the economy could catastrophic, which could sow the seeds for a return to violence. Let's hope the new government sees sense and guarantees Harlands future.

Anyone can look at AFC's SP on Google since its inception in 2006 and apart from 3 distinct spikes all caused by baseless hype, see that it has barely moved. What does that tell you? I know it tells me that this company is not a serious business. It's all about making investors believe that the technology is revolutionary and effective. I'm starting to think that that is not the case and that the whole thing is not as it appears to be.

If Spirit aerospace has to partially close, Belfast could not afford to lose Harlands as well as both are huge employers and their loss would devastate the local community. I think, therefore UKG must step in to keep Harlands as a going concern to boost the NI economy and save jobs.

What's the plan with Taiwo? How long to commercialise the cracker? When will Accionna get their unit? What happened to Julich's order? No company could be so unlucky as to miss all these targets. Maybe it's all make believe. It certainly feels like it.

LBH here, the chances of getting this loan guarantee are increasingly unlikely. For a start, any new government will need a period of consolidation and assessment before agreeing to any new financial commitments! It's funny how JW has suddenly gone awfully quiet. Has he been less than truthful?

But the company's survival likely depends on UKG who have so far not come through with the necessary support. I see Spirit aerospace, also in Belfast may be in a bit of trouble too so let's hope the prospect of political stability trounces economic norms and the government backed loan guarantee comes through. Losing thousands of jobs would be a body blow for NI. It's time for the NI MPs to get lobbying like never before.

Tonight's French election could throw a nasty spanner in the works tomorrow as it's looking like a victory for National Rally, which will unsettle markets, I suspect. It's definitely not easy picking winners as many VOD holders can attest! Let's hope our collective patience pays off. This time next year .........
