I just this second got offered £1k @ 5.50 to buy. Some games being played here 4 sure.
Guys also remember FDI's news of rare stones find should make some of the Sundays papers, also rns due soon (before end of Oct) re DFS so would you want to be out right now ? I wouldn't ! BTW, Anyone just seen the 400k shares @ 5.50 reported as a sell from 8.30 this morning. The old smoke & mirrors from the MM's & NAD is having a good day !
@ 5.52 that is a very narrow spread
@ 5.55 so all those reported sells are in fact buys !
Again just got home to catch the lasts few hours. Nice to see some others have joined the party here. Had a quick read through the posts. Many thanks everyone for posting your research. Many hands make light work. I just wanted to remind everyone that although the Lesotho project is grabbing all the headlines right now... Firestone is also one of the largest holders of mineral rights in Botswana’s diamond diferous kimberlite fields, controlling around 5000 km2, including prospecting licences around the major Orapa mine and the entire Kokong and Tsabong kimberlite fields. Still loads of upside to come here on the price. I think 8p will not be long coming. Even without the recent news re the rare stones at Lesotho these were way oversold & undervalued, don’t forget Henderson Global Investors upped their stake by a whopping 50% this week. I think the MMs are playing games somewhat with the reporting of buys & sells. Of course as it rises those who got in low may choose to take some profit so beware of the MM's tactics. I will be topping up on any significant dips. For me this was & still is a no brainer, just look at all the press lately, the BOD are working hard to add share holder value & all is going to plan. I have said it before but I will say it again FDI has been walked down over the past months. The MM's have taken full advantage of UBS unwinding their position here & now it's our turn to capitalise from those who just got sick of seeing their losses mounting. There have been some great posts over the last few weeks on here & the posts should assist you with your research. It is possibly telling that unlike a lot of the other boards on this (LSE) there is very little in the way of negative comments so all posting here seem to be of the same opinion that this is a great stock to be in right now. As ever this is only my opinion & please DYOR before jumping blind into any stock especially AIM. As waltersobchack correctly points out "you could loose your shirt". GLA

One thing is for sure, FDI must be confident that they will have goodies to sell there given their input as below... "Firestone has worked closely with the ADWC, De Antwerpsche Diamantkring and First Element over the past few months in developing this facility." The Antwerp Diamond Tender Facility
No 5p was too low it seems. Had a quick scan back at this mornings buys & they were all fractionally above 5p. Still cannot complain, FT pretty much flat lining today & we go up 7.5%. Also there were some decent size buys coming in this afternoon. 6p tomorrow may not be that unreasonable. We were all touting that figure as an easily achievable target last weekend so fingers x'd for that.
Ticked up with 10 mins to go with just one after hours sell. 7.5% up wasn't a bad day for FDI. Happy with that. tx johntroy for the info
Yes one way or another FDI have certainly had a lot of press coverage this week. I imagine that the Sunday papers may also report some of the news. Looking good for a continuation of our northward migration here
NAD's rns hasn't assisted the price for them today, currently NAD are a tiny bit down. On another note... Although my barx system shows the most recent FDI trades as unknown they are in fact buys @ 5.25
Yes that NAD rns does bode very well for the FDI's upcoming tender. Also as the recent FDI rns boasts "establishing a world class tendering facility." I am sure they are looking to get a world class price for their world class stones.
Not sure of the exact involvement will try to do some research a little later but here a similar story ... http://www.mining-technology.com/news/newsfirestone-diamonds-discovers-rare-type-2b-blue-diamond-from-liqhobong-mine-lesotho --------- Notice the last paragraph, is it is worded in a way that the DFS is already wrapped up... "From a definitive feasibility study, the company expects to enhance production from 200,000 carats to over 1,000,000 carats annually by 2015 via a fit-for-purpose treatment plant."
Just got home to watch the last few hours of trading. FDI has gone a little quieter today. A few smallish sells as well. I set a limit order to buy last night @ 5p but did not get matched. Re latest rns. That exact same news was public last night. I did posted it here @ (Wed 18:21) I think in the fog of all the M&A activity on this board last night it may have got missed :-) Nice to see we are still moving up but i would thought given all the recent very positive news we have had, there would be far more interest from pi's. Anyone else notice the rns re UBS interest in MAGP today. Do you think that has a bearing on why they wanted to unwind here.
Thanks for the links & the VERY informed views. Another good day in store tomorrow I think Anyway got to go for tonight. GLA
Not patronising at all & you're logic is sound. Tomorrow could well see a lot more pi's jumping aboard. Great to be in here! Interesting to see where this ends ups come close of play Friday. GL to you
Great post, I can not argue with that ! However, I want a top up at 5p tomorrow morning. Not much chance of that now :-)
yes it looking rather good. I am so tempted to set a buy order @ 5p tomorrow although I doubt 5p will be enough, I am not around in the morning so will miss all the fun again.
very useful post & indeed the stats are most interesting.
There was no secret about his appointment & that was back in July. We have all of sudden gone from a decent recovery play to a take over target @ 50p. That's a bit previous :-) Anything is of course possible but one step at a time me thinks.
