This problem will only get worse for India. If gold is still high in 2 yrs omg. Think of the realised prices we have and then we will assume the prices for further years will be high.

A key thing is to really understand how gold is impacting our claim.

If our calculation is a royalty locking in the production at these prices india have issues.

If we argue the mine could be built,( could have argued that in 2008 easily!). They can only argue about how much we could make and sell it for.

1m oz produced at 3000!. Is 3bn revenue, you can argue about our royalty % but it will be painful.

Everyday that goes past we get more high gold prices they cannot argue with.

GOI are in trouble. Their royalty deal at 65pct will stop the winner extracting alot of gold and we will slap them with a sensible calculation for damages using a royalty rate were we can extract millions.

GOI are at risk of having made a terrible deal and now actually loosing from the revenue grab

If I get to understand what drives the range i would be super happy.

Say 1 to xbn. If I understand 1 is based on a small amount of production I would view this as a number that is Conservative and could be awarded.

Rather that than say xbn and not knowing what the Conservative version of this number is. I want to know how much we can actually get.

Probably good for a more Conservative scenario, but the company is going to probably put out some numbers for a more optimistic result, something closer to the 7.3m oz defined by gsi

If you buy because you think sp is low vs spot nav. Just remember lost class actions are held at cost and have not been written down. This write down is reflected in the stock price. So implicitly you get a free ride on the appeals and future nav growth.

I do follow lcm. I you are looking at the last reported nav you need to make adjustments.
