This share has been relatively steady around this level with occasional fluctuations for some time but has paid decent dividends. It has however failed to move confidently towards the £2 mark. There seem to be a number of decent buys today and last Thursday. This company is very well managed and has excellent potential IMO; I bought in March 2013 originally and am happy to hold. GLA

Interesting article in July's edition about big corporations buying land in Africa for farming. Nothing specific about PAR but it does show huge potential for growth, no pun intended

Hi ST, I am very well and hope you enjoyed your brief exposure to Gateshead. It is not somewhere you would go to view stunning architecture but the people are decent. I have not lived there for 20 years but it is still home; I am living in the Midland wilderness of Derby for my sins. I do check in on the board now and then and it is good to see people are still here. Hope all is well with you and you are enjoying the summer.

Hi Seatrout, all good here apart from this never ending fiasco. Luckily I am invested elsewhere but losses as I have suffered here put pressure on my other holdings to succeed. Some cracking games in the World Cup so far. How are you?

I understand what you are saying but dividend on Friday of 5p per share; very rare on AIM.

Not too bad Seatrout, good to hear from you. Two more days at work and then driving to Italy for just over a week of decent food, wine and sun. I cannot wait but you can bet I will check PAR while I am away, I still look 2 or 3 times a week. How are you?

I have just google mapped the post code on the RNS and it was a graveyard, I thought that was a joke. I then google mapped the address and it is hardly inspiring. I am not being negative and have a decent holding just putting this into the public arena. Any comments?

You never can tell with AIM shares but even if SP does drop, it is top up time IMO. Just my thoughts not a recommendation.

about Gateshead FC; I hope you chaps don't think they are the PAR of football - lol

I held on as it was not worth selling but God knows what will happen, I still have faith and refuse to give up. BTW I went to watch my home town Gateshead against Cambridge in the Conference playoff, no league football for us next year

Hi Seatrout, I'm licking my wounds from yesterday's defeat at Wembley and having to pay £5 a pint for warm lager in rubbish pubs. I have not checked in here for a bit but good to see you lads still keeping going. We can do nothing but wait here and hope for the best or at least some news. Best wishes to you fellow holders. I sold half my holding in CAML for a 28% profit in 12 months and put the proceeds into GBO to reduce my average; I do think GBO will come good and refuse to be pessimistic about any of my holdings.

Why would people sell this share now? I have auto sell prices set on a couple of shares but I monitor them. There is no way I would be considering selling my holding here. Excellent year, good dividend and the future looks good too. If we all hold, which is the sensible thing to do the MM sharks can do very little.

After the announcement of those very impressive results? The future looks promising too; how many AIM shares pay a dividend?

The BOD here have not covered themselves in glory and have whittled away our cash. I am not happy but resigned to, at some point, writing off my investment. I hope to meet the BOD, as one or as individuals, at some point to discuss their shaming performance/behaviour in a Gateshead style.

It's just the way AIM behaves, it has happened to other shares I hold. It is really difficult for Private Investors to make money with share prices being manipulated to suit the ends of anyone but PI's. If you think this is bad you should see what is happening to GBO, the fundamentals, figures etc are all fantastic yet the share price has dropped around 25 % in a matter of months. I bet some shorters have made a few quid, shisters.

I agree 100% Rogerdoger, I've been in here for over 12 months and there has been a steady feed of positive information from this very well managed business. I am still surprised that we have not seen any major rises and there is very little in the form of posts on this board. The finals should be very good and there is an audiocast on the same day. Even at my age, I am still an optimist but this share has tried me to the extreme. Never mind Liverpool, not my team anyway, maybe this will be the biggest comeback since Lazarus!

I'm here and going nowhere with my ridiculously cheapened holding; there's no point. There is some solace to be had in this band of brothers.
