still 3.3% dividend based on yesterday's price. I am happy with dividends here but I suppose it depends on whether you intend to hold or sell.
....released tomorrow. Should be interesting but I cannot call it either way!
Hi oneiric, Mr Hunt and his cronies are pathetic and I bet they have covered their tracks. I trust the letter from The Share Centre infinitely more than I would any communication/information from this shower..................not that there has been much over the years!
......from The Share Centre today; "I refer to your holding of paragon Resources PLC shares and wish to inform you that the company has been dissolved as per the Jersey Companies Register......If there are any distributions in the future, we will credit them to your account immediately. Not really a surprise but it raked up a lot of feelings of resentment I have for any 'Management' of this company. All the rubbish about extra funding etc. has been totally false. I bet the Directors have not lost a penny. I feel for Seatrout and hope he is ok. Best of luck to anyone who was invested here, there is always a risk in AIM shares, I hope none of you ever have the misfortune to invest in a shower like this again.
Nick Clarke and his team have managed the business very well over the last few years. Both the running of the business and the dividends have been exceptional for an AIM company. I have watched Nick Clarke a number of times being interviewed and he comes across very well; as a shareholder since early 2012 (circa 92p) I remain positive about the future of the business although having lost £10k in the Globo fiasco, my heart sank when I read yesterday about the suspension. I sincerely hope Mr Clarke is worth the trust I have in him. Good luck to all holders, even MrOnions; if indeed he is a holder.
Rightly or wrongly I have already written off my £5k invested in this company and do not really think about it anymore apart from occasionally visiting this board. However, the statement has completely wound me up, after so long without communication, and being told not to contact them, the statement just shows what a bunch of no-hopers this lot are. Clueless!
Hardly an attack I think, just a simple question. I am very secure about my investment here and, you will be pleased to know, about life in general. I have been invested in CAML for a little over 5 years and have added when I thought the time was right and I had funds during this period. I have seen nearly 25% of my overall investment repaid in dividends and sustained SP growth. The dividends remained constant when the copper price dropped and the low cost of production leads me to believe this will remain the case. I have the utmost faith in Nick Clarke, his interviews and presentations have always been very professional and clear. These are facts, not ramping/research or advice. I am a private investor and I do not believe that anyone will be swayed into buying or selling CAML shares based on anything I say; you may notice than none of my previous posts have advocated either course of action. I have no industry experience nor inside knowledge, I invested here because money does nothing sitting in banks at current rates. My holding is not life changing for most people but a significant value for me personally. I was lucky when I came across CAML all those years ago, my other shares have not been as successful.
Are you actually invested here and for how long, I've not seen you on here over the last few years. Mischief maker? This has proved to be a solid investment over the last 4 years, how can you talk it down, the costs to produce copper are so low?
They are long gone, an absolute shower lacking in any kind of ability, morality or backbone. This is the 3rd AIM company in which I have all but lost my investment without any recourse or explanation; Mouchel and Globo being the others. I Have considered visiting their office in the Channel Islands but I doubt they are even there, robbing scum.
It was Seatrout now I recall, he seemed a very genuine bloke and certainly lost more than £1k. I also look in here very occasionally to see if anyone has any news but would like to hear that Seatrout is ok, understandably he got very wound up leading up to the delisting of the shares in this sham of a company run by shameless deviants. I also see this as a write off but would love to drop in on their Jersey office unannounced, it looks nothing at all on Streetview, doubt if there's even anyone there as I am sure this lot have done a runner.
Hi Kaimirza, it amazes me how these people are allowed to get away with it. I feel particularly sorry for a private investor who was on this board many times and was convinced this share was a winner. He seemed a really decent lad and ended up buying over 13 million shares, he must have lost a lot on this shower. I am £4k down on this share, not life changing but not arse pocket money either.
Is this company dead along with all investor money? It is a disgrace that it says on their website no calls, emails or texts will be answered.
I have been invested here since March 2016 when the SP was just under £1. This share has never caused me any concerns other than wishing I had invested here solely rather than some of the dogs I still hold at a loss and others where I have been ripped off; Globo and Paragon Resources to name but two! This is a well managed business which continually pays decent dividends and Nick Clarke fills me with confidence. Just keep this share to your self and do not let it go the way of so many others that are abused by the AIM market.
