Quadrise, after many, many years of trying to make the case for its emulsion fuels, eventually the environmental pressures to reduce carbon and other noxious emissions in the shipping and power generation industries have tipped the balance and they are just at the stage of early commercialisation. A partnership agreement signed with Cargill, a US$177 billion company, to be the supplier of MSAR/bioMSAR fuel is the springboard for this becoming a billion dollar company, the market for the product being so large. Cargill themselves own 500 ships and they have a strategic alliance with Maersk to fuel the Maersk fleet too.
I must admit I hadn't made that connection, seeing as we're always talking about MSC
Anyway, a bit more digging and:-
Pure Marine Fuels™ is a strategic partnership between Cargill and Maersk Tankers. We offer marine fuel procurement as a service to tramp shipping companies and trading houses.
Apologies if this is old news, but I don't recall it being mentioned
