The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Hopefully they're aware of information that prevents them from buying shares at the moment
"For your reference one of the key board members is currently on holiday."
Good, holidays are important. I'm convinced that all the management and employees are working hard to make this company a success, it's in their interests, as much, if not more so than ours, for a successful outcome
I hope they don't reply, I hope they're far too busy to reply to an email from someone that can't even spell trial
Oh and for the record, the POC trial was completed, very successfully
Our biggest hurdle to overcome on any project, is whoever is benefitting from the status quo. Our disruptive technology is going to squeeze someone out, and if they're the ones with the influence and control, we're fighting an uphill battle. So I agree with Vince's comment about brown envelope diplomacy, and if that's what it takes to clear the blockage, then so be it. Shame we couldn't have resolved that issue a few years ago in SA, if we had we'd all be rich by now
"I think people are niave to believe this intended timeline. I still have doubts about the trial actually going ahead"
From the recent RNS "The industrial demonstration test commenced as planned this week in accordance with the client's production schedule."
So, despite the FACT that the trial did actually start, you don't think it will actually go ahead?
From the Utah segment of the business update:-
"Following the award of drilling permits to Valkor covering their Asphalt Ridge site, expected to be made later in May 2023, the supply of the licence and manufacturing unit will allow low sulphur heavy oil with a lower carbon intensity to be blended to MSAR® and bioMSAR™ for trials during H2 2023, ahead of commercial supply in Q1 2024."
If the licence and supply of the MMU is announced, do you think the SP will stay as it is, drop, or go up?
"There's no risk of any commercial production until 2024 so what's the rush?"
Because the markets don't wait for production. Any hint of 'intent' and this will jump, so if you trust the BoD and believe in an eventual successful outcome, this 'could' be a great time to acquire more shares
"We don't have time for buckets more patience as funds are running low"
Funds have been running low for the last 8 years
Oh lordy another one
So 29th Mar you were saying "Although its been said a million times here, a lot of stars are aligning at once and im a lot more confident than i was say 2 or 3 years ago."
And today you think the business should be sold
Jesus wept . . .
"They did isolate Quadrise and stated prospects detiorated. In laymans terms they are stating the performance of the company is diabolical."
Well now we're getting to the bottom of it aren't we
So they said 'prospects deteriorated' (prospects are possibilities, likelyhoods etc) to which you attributed 'as QFI has never delivered and continues to move project milestones from qtr to qtr. This is why Premier Miton sold out'
So they sold out because of doubts over future performance (prospects), not past performance as you stated HF
"This is why Premier Miton sold out"
Deliberate de-ramp. They sold out of many small caps at the same time
"Our fuel for the Morocco trial has now been at the clients site for just over 10 weeks"
It might be half used up by now . . .
You'd be more credible if you realised it's now QED not QFI
"The extensive tests undertaken by Wärtsilä clearly demonstrate the suitability of bioMSAR™ for use in both marine and power plant applications. This is an important step in clearing the fuel for commercial supply and we look forward to progressing our final round of tests ahead of planned vessel trials with MSC for both MSAR® and bioMSAR™ later this year."
Are these 'final round of tests' the obstacle to confirming the fuel supply agreement?
So while we're cutting trees down to build the scaffold to hang the BoD, there is probably plenty going on in the background that they can't share with us
"Another Haggis lie"
Bit harsh surely
"MSAR and bioMSAR could be going into commercial use in Marine next year if there's no hiccups with the LONO's. So QED will be raking in cash"
To be fair to the poster, he did caveat it with 'could' and 'if' so is it beyond the realms of possibility?
Hf14:-"I assume an MMU would have to be delivered and put in operation so that the heavy oil can be converted to MSAR and Biosmar The fuel would then need to be sold to customers that at the moment we have not been told they have any."
Isn't it more likely we will receive revenue from production not sales?
What next, prisoner powered oared vessels?
How do you go on in your EV when you get stuck in a blizzard on the motorway? The whole road is blocked and you're faced with being stuck in your car for the night. You use your battery to prevent freezing to death, but then when they manage to open the road the next morning you've no charge left. So all the EV's are then waiting for tow trucks, that can't reach them because of all the stranded EV's blocking the road?
Not having a dig at EV owners, I'm genuinely curious as to how this scenario gets resolved. And it's not like I'm plucking out of the air a '1 in a million' event, this kind of thing happens fairly regularly
"Still at the same point as we were years back on this.
Not really, I liken this to a POC for BioMSAR, so definitely a new hurdle overcome
