Can only be great news if Scolaro steps down. I think his reputation has hindered Obtala. Fresh young blood at the helm is very positive. The only downside in that Rns was Emma Priestly moving on. There was a whole lot of confidence on this board when she arrived to a bit of a fanfare; shame we probably never got to see her best work. Onwards and upwards, long and strong.
Share price fall now makes sense. Obviously an agreed price for a large purchase. This should precipitate a strong move upwards in the near future. But, WTFDIK
Selling the forestry business lock stock and barrel, was always going to be a bonus. I invested here years ago based on the agri-businesses (fruit, veg, and the cannery). The forestry was always a sideline that never seemed to offer much, other than the "rights" we had to it. If it's now generating cashflow, then great. I had anticipated that the market was expecting the rns to reveal the sale of this asset, as alluded to in the October RNS. Pre market opening prices seem to show I'm wrong. Anyway, I'm here for the long haul, so not selling or buying; I'm fully loaded here.
That the market will like this. A number of people invested here anticipating the sale of the forestry assets and hoping to cash in on the windfall that brought. Price will go down today. This move by the company however, is probably neutral for the longer term investor.
Starting dealing in shares should only be done with great caution. Starting your dealing experiences in AIM stock possibly isn't the smartest move, they are notoriously unpredictable, can have wild fluctuations, many aren't always easy to sell. Most investors here will have a reasonable share portfolio from either FTSE100, 250 or 350, and then some AIM stocks to add a bit of spice and some fireworks. Proceed with caution, or you may find your paying your student loan back for a bit longer!
Correct in your valuation, but it should be remembered that stones of 5 carats and more increase in value at a much greater multiple than those of a smaller size. The 16 carat pink stone sold earlier this month for £19 million! Let's wait and see - either way, there's a good chunk of cash coming back into the business.
The proceeds from the sale of that stone alone, could quite possibly solve any perceived funding issues at hand. And of course, regarding a stone of that quality - where there is one, there's sure to be more. Great value at anything under 60p as stated previously.
used to trade this share when it was bouncing consistently between £1.10 and £1.35. The fundamentals of the mine are still exactly the same. its only market conditions and sentiment that have changed, although the broker notes are still saying buy targets in excess of 100% of todays price. Can't believe I've been able to snaffle a barrow full of these at these prices. The value of the mine itself will make this a takeover target if these prices persist. Load up below 60p is what I say, but as we all say WTFDIK
something is stirring. quite a number of Aim stocks starting to wake up after a long and sleepy summer.
Oh will you please just be quiet, you're making this BB look a mess and untidy. You've been here 48hrs and done nothing but whinge and whine. If it's all so doom and gloom, then sell what you've got, and invest it in something you feel happy about.
I don't see this being on any risers list anywhere, well not in this galaxy at least. I think we are realistically looking for a takeover. The current (new) bod, have now effectively publicly stated they been ineffective in turning the company around. Yes, we all see the potential in this company, but a fresh start under new leadership, under the wing of a larger organisation looks like the best bet.
Agree totally. Even a small rise to 7.5p is yielding about 20%. Should see that very soon IMHO.
Got a little bit of smart money moving into this now. It's right at the bottom of its trading range (okay, half a penny away) lots going on behind the scenes re contracts and R&D, looking for a reasonable climb in SP short term.
A guess that's what happens to a price when you dump 972 million shares on to the market. The previous RNS's were quite self explanatory.
So where's treacle now? Not banned at all - knew what was coming and got away quick. He did the same thing on MTV's board. And I quote from him regarding MTV "This will never go below .0025 again" then subsequently dropped 40%. A serial ramper with a great vocabulary who appears so convincing. A lesson to all, mind out for those who appear to be your friend; in a faceless arena, intentions can be misconstrued.
Hello, hello, hello. . . . . Is anybody there? Echo, echo, echo.. . . . . .
Just bought at 42.4 and showing as a sell.
