Spot on MOOla, they might not be some on here cup of tea and that's just fine.
However the superhero movies are undeniably THE big thing at cinemas of last 5 - 10 years.
They are mostly the rare occasions when cinemas all over the country are full to capacity and big spend happening.
Having been to most of these last 4 years and number of midnight screenings for opening day I have plenty first hand experience of this.
First few times I was stunned at numbers there.

Seeing these green boxes is so therapeutic :-)

New technology this streaming lark right enough, not as of it's been around a decade or two already and actually adds to the desire for people to go to the big screen.
Why on earth is this still being discussed?
The fact they work with rather than against each other has been covered several times and the marked differences in the two experiences also.
We have covered the wars, recessions, TV, video, dvd, blu ray etc etc and cinema pre covid was as strong or stronger than ever and post covid will continue to be.
We all just need to survive between now and that point.

No worries, we can all make mistakes and get carried away at times.

Look again. 0.05% change and as stated they have went up down down up and repeat regularly last couple months.

It is nothing of the kind.
As stated on several similar threads before MS have accou yes for more than half of all RNS last couple months and their holding has largely remained unchanged net effect.

Yes people want to get out and about and return to a life similar to pre covid.
However in the UK at least (as that's where I am from and can comment directly).
Cinema was for couple months open back up and even on reduced allowances cinemas were not selling out.
I am an unlimited card holder and went a number of times.
I don't think it will take years, but it won't be overnight.
Think the point is missed.
Even with reduced levels they state they also state this will give profits to company and rise in current share price.

Article mentions the known short term risks and also that of they overcome these then don't even need to get near to pre covid levels for it to be a potential for nice rise in SP from current levels.

With maybe 20% or less shares currently held by small private investors it will be difficult for anyone to gain a large enough stake to make a takeover move likely in my opinion.
Well at least without a large spike in SP .
10 firms hold over 70% alone.
I hope we see a recovery in short to medium term, but it's far from certain right now.
Main priority is that we as shareholders don't see entire holding wiped out or largely wiped out for company to survive.

I know it's the fool but even a Fool occasionally makes reasonable point.
Think this is one of their more balanced articles and with the number they have written they are guaranteed to "get it right" as have held about every view possible depending on the article.

Reading that Fitch piece it seems to me there is enough cash until end of this year for sure.
There is all but guaranteed cash inflow q2 next year with the $200 CARES money.
So key is covenant waivers for December (already gained such for June past) and next June (less so).
Some extra finance required to be secure for Q1 next year and as Fitch states more than once this business is a highly cash generative business than can recover very quickly.
It's about being in position to buy time until then.
The relationship with Cineworld and it's lenders will largely decide what future holds.
Covid clarity would be helpful too obviously, but that's same for all of us.

There is no mass sell off. Look at volumes traded last number of days it is miniscule.
Sentiment is awful on share (largely rightly so) just now so until actual news is released to the contrary it's a struggle.

Buy/Sell shares only on your own research into any particular share.
You have made clear nobody should listen to yourself or others here when making decisions.

In-depth in normal language it would be irresponsible to say otherwise of a great many businesses right now as NONE of is know the future regards covid short medium long-term.
What exactly is your reason for attempting poorly to make a story out of no story?

Unless I am mistaken Fitch are not Cineworlds accountants so as I already said none of us (including analysts) KNOW.
