The rise this morning was just so quick and on back of those days I felt it was a decent option.
However on balance clearly I didn't trade it.
Largely for what you say, it's very difficult to predict short term movements sufficiently well enough to make the risk worth it for most of us.
So instead I stay long-term holder generally with any shares I purchase.
Sometimes hard looking at what appears missed opportunities, however all to easy to forget the times it would have gone strongly against trading.
Good week looks likely for LTH'rs now though with day and half to go.

Today was probably first day I seriously considered selling a part of my holding with the dramatic morning rise I felt a pull back inevitable even if temporary. However I didn't expect the percentage movement so on balance resisted.
There has for long time been bigger than warranted movements on low volume I feel however today was probably clearest I can recall.
Up 14% in first hour or less, then down 25% now Curri back up 15% from that point.
All on tiny volume.
Certainly interesting following this (if somewhat nerve-racking being for me large holder)

Not sure I previously fully bought into the idea this share was being massively manipulated (outside fairly normal play).
However it would in my opinion be hard to argue that with less than 2% shares traded today and the exaggerated movements we have seen that this share is (today at very least) been "falsely" moved in both directions.
Anyone saying a particular outcome is guaranteed/certain/happening for sure today/tomorrow/this week blah blah blah is talking tripe

Think majority of these geniuses plan on a pump only to discover they have had a dump....in theory pants.

NY state hasn't been open until now, so the few films of last couple months are all NEW films for them.

To be fair though this has gone up over 30% in last 3 days and Tullow is 25% rise.

I have been interested to see this week that once we have the early morning move we then have been trading in a narrow price band and far less fluctuations as we were previously seeing.
Volume daily has continued to be tiny now for a number of weeks (with a couple days exception when for example Jhango increased).
Have we reached a point where the very small number of previously freely available shares are increasingly being held by the small PI's ?

Unfortunately the power doesn't lay with Nancy, but this guy it seems and he apparently is against deal before the election.

This morning would have given you 10% in that case.
Over last 6 months there has been numerous good days or even hours to "day trade"
Zero need to wait on re opening news.

You do realise as soon as you hear the news the market will have reacted earlier and you will pay a (likely) significant premium from current SP.
Most long term holders here have got in at higher levels also, so you may well judge that premium for more certainty worth paying.

Wolf the unease will for more than enough people soon ease when given opportunity to return to living rather than surviving.
As has been stated over months on these boards cinema is profitable with an average of something like 20% capacity so even with prolonged fears/capacity limits a fully open cinema business with a stream of these movies will do just fine.
The finances do require sorted before then, but we all know that and is a different point from where you attempted to start with scare talk and failed terribly.

Yes I was going to suggest those saying cinema dead and no decent movies look at the box office numbers for say last 5 years. Marvel, DC, Fast and Furious, Mission Impossible franchises all make a few Bob each time they hit cinema I would say.
Anyone with numbers to prove otherwise I will be happy to re-evaluate and discuss further. :-)
