Report from an independent Dutch theatre owner think yesterday or day before.
It's also worth noting the cinema business is not based on one single movie (yes I understand if one large movie due in early spring delays some others "might").
These are very much unknown factors too early to yet make assumptions on.

Just looked back this thread and in line with NOFEAR finding earlier today this appears it may well be correct and a very early smart spot.
I got from the report an increase from our known off 2,132,672 (so near as damn 2.2m)
Respect to all on board that dig around and find actual information.

I made no judgement and gave you my own honest assessment.
There has historically been a LOT of similar first time posts by people that turned out to be shall we say less than genuine.
That's not your fault, but goes some way to explaining why some may be skeptical.
Stick around and people will soon realise the truth either way (including yourself)

I would suggest that for the vast majority is even less likely now than at any point last year.
Remember almost no movies took the straight to streaming route in that time when they had no idea when cinemas would be open fully again and with no vaccines to tackle the virus.
Now we have multiple vaccines approved around the world and the major markets for Cineworld in particular are really focusing on rolling these out quickly and especially to the most vulnerable..
UK approach should see 88% of the real problem dealt with by next month for example.
So who is going to release say a $1bn cinema movie for say $250m streaming when the know wait say 2 months and they get the higher levels.
My view on it and so far I would say it's a view the movie industry have taken.

Welcome to board and first post.
Would likely at this time be a good call in effort to maximise their return on investment.
Early trading in cinemas likely to be down on what would have been expected pre covid.
By summer decent chance of nearer full cinemas again therefore higher probability of the sort off box office such a movie would normally command.
Studios and individual films will be watching closely the roll out of vaccines here and USA.
I see it possible/probable that many will wait until say near end next month before making real moves on decisions to delay further or not.

Latpulldown you got me COMPLETELY wrong, I am not here to agree with everything anyone says at either extreme of the scale.
Be that £1 tomorrow or 5p tomorrow folks.
I have not traded for 2p here and there in this share so I suggest you check back before casting aspersions.
I HAVE on a few isolated occasions considered taking a chance with PART of my holding on days share price moved rapidly but have never actually done so.
If I had it would have been on basis I was happy to end having top sliced my holding if it didn't go one way and if it did go other way then I would have added back to slightly reduce my overall average.
Not sure why you feel need to be aggressive, but do NOT try aiming that at me without foundation.
The first stage in UK of c.14m by mid Feb if and when that's achieved would (in my view be the very earliest wider sentiment will start to turn).
Government has made clear regards lockdowns and more likely to extend period than reduce.
I am only clarifying these facts.
We are invested in Cineworld and want it open and trading well as soon as possible.
The wider public are not though, so for many of them it's a different view to one we may have.

Latpulldown we know lockdowns will not be easing before mid next month and most likely a period after that.
End Feb/sometime March would be good.
Regards mass openings of leisure I see that being some point after that.
So let's just keep our levels of excitement in check and watch closely the vaccine rollouts (which although seem to be building reasonably well in UK) need to ramp up yet in both USA and UK.
Some promising noises and signs, but the crops are not in yet ;-)

Jangho have added c. 2.1m from what NOFEAR kindly discovered for us.
Sometime in the last few days.
Each day we have seen several smaller sells as Automatic trades. I think they are scooped up by middle man for Jangho then we see this larger "sell" which is effectively Jangho's buy.
My point wasn't wether it was a sell or buy.
2,615,886 at 65.44p does NOT equal £2m flat as it is recorded here was/is my point.

Intelligent observation as ever.

Anyone else notice the big trade recorded today as a sell (likely filling Jangho again).
I draw attention to it as it is shown as 2.6xxmillion shares at 65.44p but then extended to £2m value which does not add up.

Yip Sammy it's another Magnolias, Daffodils, Daisy's, day and Jangho keep on delivering no matter their end goal :-)
They have themselves nicely in the game and can and in my opinion will adapt this as and when news/circumstances alter for them and us.
Any of us invested long upto 60/65p can now feel pretty relaxed.
Jangho ain't looking to sell for no substantial profits or worse still to lose.

It is a Google translate of a very difficult language so precise words or tone I wouldn't get too precise on.
For example target I read as more their identified "target" for a recovery play value investment.
They are looking to make their investors money work well for them, they note this.
We have previously seen when SP increased quickly they made smart move for them and their investors to too slice for an investment that had been a shirt period of time.
They have since seen slower pace of SP increase while significantly nearer clarity regards vaccine roll outs to quash the virus threat to business and life.
This has given them (in their view) another excellent entry point to give themselves more exposure expecting handsome returns in an acceptable timeframe.
These guys are not merely waking up of a morning and throwing random predictions at the wall.

This is THE most important and informative post this board has seen by a long way I would say.

Shows Jangho carried out an intensive research on the company and the wider markets and selected this as a great value play back in April 2020.
The currently have only 10% of their net asset value invested so scope for more should they choose.
They currently see value still at or around current values.
Since last week's latest confirmed add notified by RNS on Monday they have added a further 2,132,672 shares Monday or Tuesday of this week (as we could see and mentioned our suspicions from trades in the day) Although low volumes it did appear apparent (for those with their eyes opened and not blinkered) that order was being continually filled at the 64/65p mark.
Personally still see their main objective as being value investors rather than takeover target but they clearly are still seeing value and keen to add.

Their work is very thorough on this and I am happy with my own decisions and to ride on their coat tails for a while yet.
Once again well done NOFEAR!!
Let's see if we get that latest addition confirmed by end this week when they would appear to very possibly have added/be adding since for more good news early next week :-)

Note SP did hit over 68p this morning, hence delayed appearance of ShortestChild ;-)
