I have covered several times that it is not a one target number of £1:90.
Though it is not "just the starting target.
It is the 100% award target.
For example £1:30 if I recall correctly entitles 25%
Yes SP to be held for 3 months.
Also a clause for in the event of change of ownership.
Agree £1:90 feasible in next circa 12 months (that would be approaching 18 months/half way since it's implementation).
What I said was: I don't believe it warrants that SP in the space of a few months or where the company is at in its recovery now.
After all that is roughly where company was pre covid having made good profits.
We are a way from that just now.

Anyway, here's to another fresh day and one nearer the good times for all holders.
Soon have a .ore substantial number of our US sites open bringing in much needed revenues :-)

I think it is too often overlooked/forgotten or written off the fact this is (since the purchase of Regal) a very much US business c. 75%
If any holders EVER find a moment of weakness unsettled by one of the random rats that appear or a SP down day/not moving up as much as they thought look at the US and it's vaccine progress.

Think it's about double the rate per capita to UK that have already been fully vaccinated.

As such so will LTH of shares as news to help shorters or MM's will be all but gone in these few short weeks :-)

BoA only ever held 1.6% actual shares and as discussed few days back between myself and IanH it is reasonably possibly they shifted into Jangho as they increased by not too dissimilar volume.
Not something we can influence the plays these big boys make so wouldn't get caught up too much in it personally.

BoA traded the rise and used mostly CDS as insurance on their position.
Probably made over 10% for c. a weeks holding.
Good work just like MS and Goldman did before them.

He called the rise, as he often finds though he was just little premature.

£1:90 is only one number in the LTIP
Mooky and the others eligible for the plan do NOT need to wait for or achieve £1:90.
That is the point at which they are entitled to receive 100% of award should the price be there for 3 months.
Think it is £1:30 for 25% award for example.
Scheme is capped at 200% award i.e. £3:80

My point was Cine specific there was no huge news we didn't already have.
Yes ONE "blockbuster" debuted better than expected by many.
However:
It's 1 movie
It was/is still a fraction of levels it would be pre covid and needed going forward.
Cine had about 20 or less locations open.

Although I don't see any real threat from other news over weekend such as UK potential vaccine passports, the ridiculous blood clot ongoing chat and other negatives. They are also still news.

Let's see in c. 2 months where we are. At that point most of the estate will be open, we should have clearer picture on other studio deals , further movies numbers, attendances, vaccine progress, people's habits on opening of economy.

I would hope we are (if not now) edging very close to the end of any sub £1 days.
Happy with that as a new base for point we are in recovery.

Robin, I have been going on the assumption that wherever we end up for party all the local ladies will flock to our gaff when they here who is in town.

What weekend results?
I have not seen any info for the c. 20 theatres Cineworld opened under their Regal arm.

One 6% rise per month with zero the rest of month gives us a double bagger over the year.
In my eyes ANY opportunity to double money in a year is outstanding :-)
There has been nothing of note to drive the price any more than that over the weekend that I can see.
As noted it's more sustainable and less likely to result in the dips that many then cry about after a big day or two of rises.
If the share doubles in less than a year then sure I will accept it (but don't expect it).

What's with all the greed guys??
6% rise in couple hours I will take that once a month and be delighted :-)

Hey Robin, 3 or 4% on £1k will still get you a couple days biscuits essentially for free ;-)
