I would say we are probably hitting the first target now, the original drill length was 50 days so after 14 days of drilling we should be absolute minimum 25% of depth which is the first target zone, any rumours of a strike and it will rocket that’s for sure, some big buys coming in now

The positive like Mikey says is that usually before bad news the share price spikes to let certain ppl out, before good news it’s often the case that the weak are taken out with a big tree shake to allow the big boys to buy in cheaper, who knows but the price action does indicate news

Downside is 5p on a duster imo depends how low it falls before full results though but I have orders in at 5p

Drilling speeds are on the Sinpoec website... maybe the reason for the large selling today as first targets should have already been drilled through imo and there is no update

Well the multiple 100k sells today are the opposite of what you would hope to see during an oil drill that’s for sure, update needed to stop the rot, the director selling rns 3 months late was also a disgrace

Some big round number sells going through is never good to see during an oil drill, lack of an update is also disappointing, looks like 8p will be tested soon

Agree the positive news due imminently is the block XX rig booked in for drilling, due to the high COS of these drills it’s adds a nice balance for this drill and the 490mbl Wildhorse drill any strike and it goes crazy due to the acreage resource potential of 23 billion barrels recoverable and additional acreage available on top of that! An rns will spark this into life, oil shows will put a rocket up it

The block XX rig contract should land any day and if they announce they will be drilling those wells alongside the 490mbl wildhorse there will be a big scramble for shares, even more so if SL strikes oil Matd as operator and the drill team are Chinese... put my BAGR profits in here just now the charts point to an imminent breakout

Operational update 25 June Ojay so it’s imminent, the price looks to be moving freely too the overhang looks to have cleared at long last L2 looks great atm ready for a big tick up

The drilling programme scheduled for Block XX remains on track. Contract negotiations with the preferred bidder to supply and operate a rig are in the final stages. Formal award of the contract is expected by the end of July. The selected rig is in country, is operating close to Block XX and is available from Q3 2018.

Lol professional de ramper? I’m a professional investor have been for many years and I know more about Matd than you I can assure you. How is it negative to ponder who the big sellers are? It’s far more plausible that it’s 6.5p placing shares been sold for a profit risk free, than the recent placing shares been flipped on masse for a loss. This selling has been going on for weeks not just the last few days, first you said it was shorters apparently closing out for a loss... if your here for the drill results in 60 days time the short term share price shouldn’t bother you, patience required
