My take would be that the potential JVs asked us to do the Aeromag and soil sampling surveys in order for them to confirm the presence of what Anglo Am survey had stated years ago.It was announced and begun very quickly But by doing it we have discovered previously unknown areas and expanded existing areas.They might be fed up and wished they had committed some cash before the new areas were found because now there is an awful lot more to bargain with.NVS doing really well but it must help when a couple of mega sites turns up !!!!!

2.We may have agreed (in principal) to sell an area

Whatever the scenario,it's all positive in my eyes.

I'm not definite,but if the NDA preceded the new Co. formation and a JV is involved in the new Co. then I guess they would be bound to disclose info within "a reasonable time frame" and before I get picked up on defining "reasonable" !
