On February 5th, Arc announced that Mr Mumena Mushinge had been appointed as a non-executive director. Mumena is the founder of Zamsort, owns over 11% of Arc and is a real gentleman – I can say that because I had pleasure of meeting him last year in July. Mumena also personally stopped the Chinese and others from stealing Zamsort’s assets.

AIM successes all have track history,,one trend I look for and like are those that the sp rises after placings,.It shows the market knows it has credibility and just needs the funds to make it happen,Whilst we would all prefer asset sales,the cash from those sales may well take us to the next level and this private placing will make sure we can negotiate strongly in their sale.NvS likes to follow financing news with asset news . Fatboy from memory when Sentinel was sold it was hundreds of millions of tons but probably more relevant is the $700m that FQ offered the Zam govt late last year for their 20% stake in Sentinel.That was offered even though Zam had born none of the development costs

@Fatbot--The 16mt attributed to Sentinel was after the initial Anglo Am surveys and assessments/ratings it was then proved up significantly before sale.But $260m was dirt cheap !

Could I please correct a misnomer-I think NvS said that majors are looking for the "Motherload" ,he was only implying we may have two deposits that fulfill the criteria,but as we know he will have chosen that phrase cautiously and Conservatively. GLA

And then increase Dcats guesstimate of tonnage for the possibility of much higher grades,then the whole area becomes massively bigger and more profitable than Sentinel and more like being potentially one of the best mines in the world i.e. ,possibly "the motherload" Just hopes at the moment but the next 3/6 months will be telling.

@Blood-youv'e probably guessed that I don't give a toss what the failures Freeks and St. Rider(Squiddy) thrive on
,I just see them as comic entertainment .To that end ,I have a vision of them walking into a pub together Lets call it "The Zambian Arms"--Freeks tells all the punters that the beer is overrated and crap and the landlord doesn't know what he is doing.He's only gone in the pub to do the rest of us a philanthropic service and to stop us getting guts ache like he did years before,
Squiddy then chips in (after having been ridiculed in the pub down the road) telling us all that the landlord is a liar and he's not going to start drinking here until the beer triples in price, But the pub is most likely to close anyway,and knows this because he is an expert in the business and has only ever lost money once before and that happened to be in this pub with the previous landlord. And just one further request please Nick.While you are shutting the company down, please don't instruct a lawyer to take issue with St.Rider (a.k..a. Squiddy) over calling you a liar, as it's not really his fault that he speaks first and then tries to justify it afterwards.It's really the fault of all those nasty posters on SOLG who take the Mickeyand keep picking on him because of the stupid things he continually spouts.:-)

Dear Nick,please would you make sure this company fails and then you and we would all lose our money which would make Freeks feel an awful lot better about him losing his in Ortac In reality if you would only accept the Freeky intellectual word,you would understand you are wasting everyone's time and money. We are not bright enough to make that decision on our own,so you will have to close it down for us.You know it makes sense :-)

Tra 1 ,I would never dream of telling anyone what to do with their money,I could only say what I am happy to do with mine.For me.I have taken a well researched view of Arc management and its assets and financing, all it has done is got better recently ,probably a lot of luck involved, and now someone wants "out". Nothing has changed for me ,If I am wrong it will cost me money-but I think I am a reasonable judge of scenarios so would not have suggested family and friends invest if I did not have real belief.If I'm wrong shoot me !

P.S Other options may be available at a store near you :-)

1.Paternoster took a position some time ago and employed a lady who is an experienced M&A operator-they may have wanted in,and are selling because they have been blocked
2.Anne G may have sold position (she was below 3%) so no RNS
3.Mushenge may be adjusting for Zaco deal
4.Who gives a monkeys it was less than 1% and they are either needing of the money, or not very bright-whichever way there is serious news to follow.GLA

Tra1,interesting to see that link,but its not nearly accurate as I hold 60% of my holding through II and its a lot more than reported there,I would like to say that they were outdated but I have held most of that for over a year.
