Zambian infrastructure is any oxymoron.They don't even have enough power to supply the mines and domestic demand in existence,and are having to cut back production even further. Whoever eventually buys Zamsort will probably have to build their own power sources.But then again if they are looking to mine the whole area it would be easily worth it.

Sodium Bi would be supplied in 20kg sacks and needs to be kept dry until use (getting it wet in transit is dangerous),so it may be the risk of the rains soaking it in transit is the problem.Once on site it would have to be stored securely and dry,and from the pictures of the open sided plant we have seen they would have to build a dry store section. Or we may have had to go for the more expensive method anyway. WTFDIK

Don't think the govt were putting in the money,I thought it was a comment from someone that $100m??? was going to be invested !

There was a point in the CC that Nick said something like" we will keep Kalaba for feeding the plant".Well that will be quite a massive scaling up of production to utilize even half of the site.looking forward to listening again.

I think we have been extremely lucky in finding 2 new large mega deposits and now there is another one potentially .NvS's latest comments on CSD are in line with expectations-@Poorman,we have not thrown money at the CSD but budgeted for $500k and done it for $3/400k by the time we finish it i.e. 2 wks to first run production.If I could see an opportunity of throwing $400k at a project to return $3/4m ++ p.a.I wouldn't turn it down.I'm not having a pop at anyone and can be a pedant with words, but the progress this company has made since Nick took over is huge and I believe the patient will be rewarded.
