I just believe that if you invest with an objective /target in mind why would you want to reduce the impact part way through.Once this has doubled my original investment, it is extremely unlikely to half in value so then my original money is safe and the multiplication factor is far greater.Brave or foolish ? Most CEOs are reasonable businessmen,some just think they are.Some are con men,probably conning themselves as much as investors ,I still have worthless holdings in other AIM mistakes I have made, The first thing I researched here was NVS .If I am wrong about our CEO it's going to cost me a fortune. Listen to what NVS doesn't say,and then what he doesn't want to do (re my post yesterday).Work out the potential value of what he doesn't want to do across 9 sites and then use that as a minimum valuation of what he wants to (believes he can) achieve here.

AISC $4200t ? we have a stockpile of decent grade ore and surface ore next to the plant.DB is already on record as being able to use cheaper process than thought and also says he could easily ramp up/multiply volumes.My estimate for AISC would be well under $3000t and volumes will significantly increase.

Key phrase for me is "The plant has a fully permitted renewable mining license through to 2025".So no time pressures.
Nick also said in an Investor call that " the plant would not be a design he would have chosen" So I asked him (e mail) would it be possible and would we be allowed to put a plant on each of the 9 known deposits ? he said "Yes" but I got the strong impression that wasn't the way he was going.

My comment meant it is relevant to both .Pis because they will not see a dilution for day to day expenditure ,and JVs and other interested parties because it shows we are now not desperate for their cash and can afford to "prove up" our assets creating greater value.GLA

@Poorman I agree with your thoughts on aim,but some succeed.NVS is a cautious ,logical businessman and not a lifestyle CEO just making the right noises As I have said before CSD is key here,it not only gives significant income (compared to Mcap) it also produces a safety net that would be very difficult to break.And that then provides a basis for moving forward .NVS is methodical and while Makro details are tying his hands he will not turn up in Capetown with nothing to say. GLA

I partially share your skepticism because what the picture shows is an empty conveyor belt starting to be filled and absolutely no workers in the background.But I believe it is just an early clip and the fact we have had two pieces of info in quick succession is possibly the start of a planned info campaign by NVS. We shall see !

CSD moving on twitter

The Zambian government announced their proposed tax changes several weeks ago.I was amazed that there was no comment on Twitter or here throughout that time .Several miners reacted but it caused no great drop in our SP .Negotiations are ongoing I believe,but if I were negotiating for the future profitability of my business,I would not be announcing future investments in mines( that will produce ore when it will probably be over $7k) before I had agreed the "game rules". Zambia want and need investment ,miners want and need new mines. Our NDAs will affect how much detail we are allowed to release (or not) but the first condition of miners/Zam govt. negotiation will have been to take away the threats to workers jobs.That's been done and now agreement will follow.(My take anyway) GLA
