Times suggests they have in this article from 5hrs ago. I don't subscribe bit it seems to suggest they have and something about them calling on city regulator to investigate Burford. I cant seem to find much on Twatter but then again its not a speciality of mine. Nothing jumped out at me though.

Yeah I agree re closed period and I did acknowledge that in my note to ceo(albeit didn't mention on here). Although I do think there has been some opportunity. Doesnt matter mind there isn't much free stock anyway. At best 27% tradeable providing significant shareholders remain as is.
Agree also its good to have the banking pilots cleared away and hopefully new strategy will be more fruitful and drive return to more logical value.

My ref to UT was around the discussion on closing price.
BUR is based on the SETs trading service. Which as you know uses an auction period to set the close price so I was just pointing out the actual LSE quoted close off the uncrossing trade. 
Anyway, long way to go yet I believe it will recover but can't possibly predict it. Hopefully blue day tomorrow. Gl all.

It closed at 7.55 its post close price on London Stock Ex and is the UT quoted price. I can see the big trades now. I got hammered today so.hopefully price will return tomorrow. Should stop looking really and come back in a.week or so.

Tiny free float so it moves on a dime (or penny) literally. Any good news with interest will move quick. Over 72% of stock held by significant shareholders excluding most of bod as I have more than most them. They have tiny amounts. I have asked them if they intend to.add to.show confidence.

£529 quid and the price changes are mad. Hate to think what would happen if I traded mine lol. Be good when interest comes as any volume and it will move quick...for now gonna tuck them back up and wait.

Yep I believe its just not in the radar and where it is perhaps they need more certainty around what will drive revenues.
Its a bit in an orphan stage but the reason I built a position is because its valued at less than cash, has an offering in a very interesting space and its being actively managed to try grow.
Just going to hold and wait now for proper developments in strategy and the upside when other find it. Its high risk reward atm so not for everyone. I don't I will add more but got just over 1%. Be okay when its worth 100 mill lol (one can wish)

I own a considerable amount of this company so I could tell an rns has landed when I saw my account down a few grand lol. Anyway, I think it may end up being a good driver to a better strategy and the M&A stuff sounds positive for potential shareholder returns. Market Cap is tiny

Doesn't seem to be too scared does he. Interesting to see how this unfolds. I think Burford seem to be genuine in their call etc so be interesting to see if this new info has anything material in it.
Fascinating really but whatever the outcome I do feel for those hit in pensions etc.

1. Where is it announced Gotham (Research Capital - I assume) are releasing a dossier?
2. How do we know MW have pretty much closed their short.

They did say its at an early stage so I suppose it could be a fair while.

Thing for me is that lets work on the thinking kdnc are selling the remainder 0.5%. That's just over 670k shares and they announced that was their position via kdnc rns around 1 August. With the ongoing block sells they would surely already be done so the volume today has taken me by surprise.
I am sure it was lots to do with being spooked towards the end but I can't help feel (just a feel or fear) that another large holder is selling.
Who I don't know. I suppose it could be global x but they haven't recently we can check that soon.
Time will tell I suppose. Will try switch off for the weekend and see what's occuring next week. Have a good one all.
