Actually, I take it back. Read again. Rns mentions enlarged issued share capital so obviously the 108 is in addition to the 1000 so shared capital is now 1108. Gun hold 333 which is approx 29.7% and makes the approx (108) 9.75% figure against the enlarged share capital match.
So thats clearer. Misread it initially.

We held 22.5%, bought 9.75%, so have 32.25%.
Which of the 1000 oyster shares should be 322.5 shares so we have a smidge more (225 +108), so 33.3% of the 1000.
Not sure how the additional 108 shares represents 9.75%. As based on my math its 10.8%. Suppose its possible one of the conditions is that the issued share capital is enlarged slightly to give madagascar a small slice of the pie?
Good though that our stake has increased, its moving, and they have had some positive talks with madagascar.

There are 536,529,983 or so shares in issue so 15p a shares isn't 12 million mcap, and neither is 5p. Where am I going wrong as I am afraid I try avoid relying on spending £1500 a month on data to trade lol.

Other than possibly level 2 which may need to be paid for, you can access good quality charting all the news in the public domain and form your own opinion for pretty much £0 a month. £1500 a month is nuts but that's another topic.

Geographical risks is fair to call out, obviously its a more risky continent and is something no one should forget but I personally think think this is fairly well discounted especially on todays news.
Re Numis, 12 million target of what at 15p? Cant be market cap. Like I say the only link I could find was numis at 22p which was the lowest of all the broker targets.

Out of interest though can you send a link to those broker targets as I don't understand the price and 12 million reference. They don't correlate and I cant find them,may not be looking in right place.
Only ones I can find are totally different which had Numis at the lowest price estimate of 22p and others upto 4 x that.
Treat them all with a pinch of salt myself but interested to see your link.

@luck, out of curiosity, if this is still a traders shares even though they are production stage and this mou is to expand that why were you invested and burnt before now? Your posts dont add up. The only explanation that adds up is you lost money, kept and eye on it and as you have said decided you would Invest again but didnt. The news has landed today and your trying to either scare people off, or make yourself feel better.
As for costs I am sure earlier rns' and company website have stated break even at 30 a barrel. Well under half current oil price.
Anyway, each to their own. As they say its not about time in the market but timing the market. I am hopeful that over the coming weeks I will be able to get my capital back and leave over half my position in come what may.

I assume this MOU relates to the intention to increase production to around 15,000 to 20,000 barrells?
And that 6,000 barrels at the lower production rate (40% of 15 barrels a day) would be attributable to lek.
So at 65$ a barrel that would mean annual revenue of over £112 million pounds to lek lower case and they already are producing.
Also have the news about resolving the issues on the other license.
Furthermore the MOU says its sold to the major that's involved.
I can defo see 20p being possible here with the IIs being sold, or largely sold, albeit not totally formalised.

Not that I pay too much attention to them, but I think there are a number if broker targets and the lowest was 22p with the others multiples of that. Always hard to put a value on these things but does seem like a great opportunity.

Yeah I should have topped up at low 4's. I didn't think sellers were that close. Just added more at a premium but my initial buy last week brings average down a little. Only concern is not 100% convinced seller is out, or just applied brakes, so hopefully I won't get spiked. Couldn't wait though as started motoring and they may well be gone. So to me that's, its still ongoing but yes they know about it as part of the disclosure. So if was a no go I dont think Ganfeng would have even offered or taken it to approval.
