If your looking for a great gain overnight it isn't going to happen. Many who bought in low pennies held ages even though the rise was sudden it was sudden for most.

So I'm gonna still hold all mine and let the story unfold until something other than standard market dynamics changes. Fundamentally it's all the same.

We will get to the value of peers as that's what the markets say miners are worth. Way to go yet

Yeah seems to have ticked up very well. Miners still doing well generally and BTC strong so no problems. Bring on the venture listing sometime soon. Simply a flash crash and back to even atm

When I was watching the ARB shareholder videos from Peter Wall last year I noticed he had a quote on his wall, hand written in chalk.
I was curious what it was and for some reason I read the first line and googled it. I found out it was a quote of a speech by Theodore Roosevelt.
It resonated with me and so I printed a copy framed it and put it on a wall. That was before it went crazy here.
While I believed this could happen and is why I/we invested I hadn't expected it happen quite like the way this has. Truly is unusual.

Anyway, sorry for the waffle and I'm sure this post will be lost in a matter of seconds on this board but I just wanted to share that, and the quote:

Im defo starting to see the compounding effect. I feel a little greedy I cant help being remorseful I had to sell my ISA last year even though my pension is booming lol. Something wrong in that really so Im not going to do it, look on the bright side.
I may have to start exercising and getting healthy to try ensure I reach retirement.

I have just read up on it a little. I'm not that old atm (relatively). In many ways I hope its a problem i do have to think about, but if I do get to that point I will have to get professional advise to fully understand it.
Basically I think what it means is whatever pension i crystallise above the threshold is taxed at a rate of an additional 25% or 55% for lump sums, on top of normal income tax?. I suppose it would be a nice problem to potentially have but not a concern at this stage (I may lose it all by retirement) and its a way off. I think the cap should be a lot higher really but hey I dont set the rules.

Each to their own. I'm defo going to base my decisions to sell on volume and sentiment (particularly in states) % gains, values, portfolio balancing won't be a factor. ATM defo not a sell for me.
That said I wouldn't begrudge those that do and are happy.

I had expected a chance of UK selling into the £1 targets today but looking so strong here still.

Important to try ignore the value of your holding the market doesn't mind what that is. Can't sell too early.
That's what I keep reminding myself lol. I've got about 20k in at an average between 12-13p. Most at 5p.
Genuinely has a way too go imo but will sell some when market changes. Hopefully UK haven't set an arbitrary £1 target to sell. Could be a fan day again if we can maintain support and gold right from the open.

Yeah. My explanation is don't believe the lse buy and sell data. Unreliable and based on mid.

I'm not in here ATM, I was but anticipated a fairly obvious delay. I may miss out but I do think those holding can expect a good return when announced. I'm not certain but I think I calculated around 7p as a target when I held. Hopefully I can return before then. If not wish you all well.

Not necessarily Chris but if it finishes much higher there we will open up higher again as we have been. USA has to source stock from London so it's pressure on supply here and upward
