On the Beach has become the latest travel firm to reveal a hit to bookings demand due to the spread of Omicron and new testing rules.
The holiday group’s chief executive, Simon Cooper, told the PA news agency he had seen a “big tail-off” in terms of bookings and online searches for holidays since the new coronavirus variant emerged.
It gets worse for iag.
The price needs to rise a bit more get ii support for the cap in hand.
"Because of lackluster passenger numbers, British Airways could not sustain the number of scheduled flights.
With 545 December flights canceled, many holiday travelers will see their plans disrupted. January has seen the most cancellations, with over 1,000 flights canceled.
These cancellations will affect both domestic and foreign flights."

"IAG’s cash operating costs were much higher at €260mln per week in the past quarter.
At this rate, the FTSE 100 group would rattle to the end of its liquidity runway in just over 40 weeks if it was not generating more cash.
IAG’s net debt also towered at €12.4bn at the end of the quarter, up 27% over the period."
Order was filled on 10ma. Happy with that but the weeks ahead could be a hit and miss, BoD have already stated the next results will be showing a loss.
Not watching market much for rest of this week, Heading to UK soon for triathlon and visit family in Scotland. PCR tests, great! not. My glamours trading assistant has the helm of my shares account - thats a worry.
