It is great to see H-Power becoming increasingly positive about the event. Presumably, lots of enquiries and potential orders to follow.

It is a very low volume day today, even just considering the ongoing sector recovery, but I wonder if some speculative buying might start this afternoon.

It does seem like a bit of a hint from H-Power being so explicit about the team that is going but, either way, it is pretty clear that JW is not one for playing games or using smoke and mirrors like his predecessor.

The fact that the full leadership team, including the CEO and CFO, are present at the World Hydrogen Summit this week seems to fuel the speculation that some sort of deal could be in the wings.

Whatever the case, it is good to see this far more proactive approach from the H-Power leadership as the bad memories of AFC Energy and the shocking approach by AB go firmly in the rearview mirror.

If is interesting to see Karl Bostock's comment on the H-Power launch video today:

"Really exciting times here at H-Power! Love the new branding!"

He doesn't strike me as someone who gets easily excited from a professional perspective and I somehow doubt that the rebrand alone is putting him in such a positive mode. Let's see what the coming days and weeks bring...

It is encouraging to see Charles Archer remaining very bullish about AFC. It seems like a pretty good assessment to me as we await the first major news in quite a while.

*AFC Energy (becoming H-Power) - news light but the share price is rising in sympathy with other hydrogen stocks in the space (Ceres Power and ITM).

Those two are up 200% and 150% YTD respectively as a result of precisely the catalysts I felt would apply to AFC, but I am confident that the flower that blooms last will be the most beautiful of them all.

AFC does not need government funding like these others.

But I wouldn’t rule it out.

When the news comes, the near 100% gain you’ve seen since my initiation piece last year will look like pocket change.

SOY, I 100% agree with you, having watched their tactics for years.

They have only gotten away with it for so long due to the appalling combination of the shocking failure of the previous management and the implosion of the hydrogen sector.

Why the shorter gang cannot see that both of these have changed dramatically is beyond me but it is time to call them out and watch them shrink into the shadows where they belong. Will they lick their wounds and leave now or wait for fat more serious damage to come? We will soon find out

anyway, let's hope that the directors provide all genuine shareholders with some proper information about what is happening behind the scenes so that we are not all stuck speculating on what might be happening, and to remove the ammunition from the shorters and bashers.

Tennents, I would have agreed many years ago but I have reached the conclusion after years of watching them moan in tandem that their agenda is not what it seems.

They claim to buy shares, then they moan about the lack of profit, then they spend years bashing the company.

They are like an army now and clearly have no interest in seeing the share price recover, quite the opposite.

There might be a few exceptions but the picture is clear as far as I am concerned.

Thank you for the confirmation, you foul-mouthed , aggressive troll. Imagine relentlessly bashing a share that you own for years. We see through your and your fellow bottom feedsers' motives.

Close your shorts and go away.

It is amazing how many unhappy "shareholders" that there are when the share price goes up.

Just imagine how unhappy that they will be if AFC releases significant positive news such as the S&P partner details, potentially alongside the name change and rebrand.

Close your shorts and fund another sector to prey on.

With the sector hitting multi year highs, AFC will hopefully see a proper rerating once the news starts to flow properly.

The change to H-Power can't be that far away and I would not be surprised if this was used as an opportunity to transform the approach to communication and to provide a substantial update on what is happening behind the scenes alongside other news.

In the meantime, AFC has historically often seen rises in its share price in a somewhat lagged way following earlier rises from ITM and CWR so let's see if this happens here again.

Whatever the case, the shorters must be feeling the pressure generally in the sector which provides a very positive contrast to the dynamic in recent years. GLALTS.

Let's enjoy watching Helikon lose all of their spiv profits from last year. Life is a marathon not a sprint.

How many more millions can they afford to lose before closing? It couldn't happen to a better bunch of people.

It looks like a coiled spring at the moment. Just look at ITM and CWR, then look at the Charles Archer articles. Once the newsflow starts, Helikon and their fellow bottom feeders will regret their decision. ITM alone has cost them.a fortune. They should stick to going long on Polish coal companies instead of shorting the UK hydrogen sector.

As the shorters continue to work out how to exit the sector, a quick reminder of the key catalysts identified by Charles Archer last week:

- Named Hy-5 orders with contract values

- The S&P 500 partner identity revealed

- CE marking received, ICL JV producing and selling hydrogen at scale

I hope that Helikon and their fellow shorters hold on long enough to see these catalysts emerge, just like they did with ITM.

Looking at what is happening to CWR and ITM, I wonder what the exit plan is for the shorters. How many million have they lost in the last year? How much longer will they hold on? What happens if AFC properly joins the party and releases some of the news that is due, as explained by Charles Archer recently? The shorters are very exposed already and the tide has only started to go out.

I haven't seen the shorters get so nervous for a very long time. What a wonderful vibe.
