Thanks for those details. Regarding your last point ( "2) Polygon used the three other parties to assist them in building a stake more quickly."). By their very nature, CFDs are an attractive way for a 3rd party to remain 'under the radar' so to speak. Do you think that's a possibility?

Yup. It must be especially hard to deny one patient that drug so another can have it, even if that other does not believe the disease exists. I feel for the healthcare staff having to deal with that level of stupid-selfish on their wards every day.

Something that's been piquing my interest for a while, is whether Mr. Woodford stayed away from SNG after his debacle, or, whether the lure of the SNG promise to the comeback kid was too much to ignore. I wonder if he found his way back here, albeit quietly.

Your post BobFraeks reminded me of something RM said in the last webinar, or one of the every recent ones at least. I thought it slightly odd at the time - he emphasised, rather than remarked, something along the lines of "this study WILL get finished, we WILL complete it". Could it be that they could have reached the point you state (finishing early based on results) but the company themselves decided to crack on and FINISH the damn thing? After all, as a small company, a fully completed study will always be more weighty, there will be no stone left unturned, no question marks later etc... ? I don't know. Anyone else remember that and thought it was odd?

How do you get to a figure of 2-3 billion for USA?
In 2013, there were 80 million courses of Tamiflu in the US strategic national stockpile. That will no doubt be higher today, but not massively so. Tamiflu and a drug like SNG001 would have a broadly similar profile of use, ie similar target group, I’m guessing? Just interested in how you arrived at your figs in the billions?
