Social distancing restrictions are expected to last until the end of the year according the government's chief medical adviser.
So whenever pubs/bars/restaurants reopen that will impact on turnover given the reduction in footfall.

Michelmersh - I believe the UKs third largest clay brick and tile producer have recommenced operations today. They won't have done that unless they have significant orders on the books to fufill. The industry is gearing up behind the scenes to get back started very soon.
Looking like I was correct on Friday.
Encouraging to hear operations will restart tomorrow. Hopefully, this will see other building product manufacturers such as Ibstock, Forterra and Marshalls following as well.
Yes, that's what Micheal Gove said on the Andrew Marr show yesterday -when asked about when pubs and restaurants would be back in business, Mr Gove said: "The other inference that I draw from your question, which is that areas of hospitality will be among the last to exit the lockdown - yes, that is true, they will be among the last."
If correct August/ September seems plausable, although some papers are reporting as far as winter before reopening, which seems a bit extreme.
SP may bounce back a little today but I suspect the overall decline will still continue over the coming weeks.
So UK lockdown extended for 3 weeks, so until after the early bank holiday morning. Even if lockdown restrictions are eased it will be for only manufacturing, construction industries to return to work. Absolutely no way will they let it suddenly be a free for all and Raab stated that yesterday.
Whilst some shops and restaurants may reopen in low risk areas (with social distancing measures) restriction in higher risk areas will continue for even longer.
Personally I don’t think Revs will be fully operational - so all bars open and without social distancing measures until at least mid June, which is 12 weeks after when the first lockdown measures were introduced.
Marshall and their peers will be one of the industries allowed back to work and continue manufacturing after restrictions are lifted in 3 weeks time - so after the early May bank holiday.
What we don’t know is the impact on demand for the likes of new build developments. Hopefully the fundamentals have not change in terms of the requirement of new build housing stock, which will benefit PD Edenhall and some of Marshall’s concrete paving/ walling products.
Should be no change for drainage product demand and with now HS2 already given the green light bodes well.
There may be a negative impact on the retail sector - households may holdback having a new driveway/ patio if they have been adversely impacted by COVID-19. The high end natural stone and porcelain paving, which is really popular at the moment may take a hit here and all producers like Marshall’s, Aggregate Industries, Brett Landscaping all make decent profits from these traded products - higher profits than their own manufactured paving products.
Dom-Bella you are quite right because in essence time is money.
When life returns to normal is anyone's guess at this stage and it difficult to judge right now the true financial impact of COVID-19. Only when the dust settles within the next few months, will be have our 'oh sh**!' moment. Key will be unemployment figures and what disposable income people have. How many furloughed workers who will actually return to their jobs is anyones guess. but people won't be ordering ****tails when claiming univeral credit.

I was invested here some 6--7 years ago, when KDR was wildy ramped up by a select few based on 'imminent' diamond discoveries. Nothing materialised and fast forward to today and not alot has has changed bar a few studies and indicators.
This was going to be a slow burner at best but the pace of developments have been dire. I will get back in if there ever is more meat on the bone. Best of luck.
