MLVN have disposed of loss making business in Singapore. New BOD, over £1 mil cash in bank, cash generative and only £2mill MCAP. Similar numbers to WEY education and that has over £30 mill MCAP.
Now demand for retraining and realising new been higher. MLVN has been oversold and now a correction is happening to reflect the business true fair value. 0.3p an easy short term target.

This tweet from last week explains it nicely.

MLVN now have cash in the bank and disposed on loss making assets. Certaintly oversold and correction coming.
However, demand for further education in coming weeks, months and years due to COVID is going to be huge.

“The sector must be allowed to respond to demands from existing and new students, many of them disadvantaged, says Justine Greening. It must also be ready to help hundreds of thousands of people to reskill......
.... With recession looming, FE colleges could play a further crucial role. The steady digital shift of the economy meant there was already a need for the government to focus more on retraining and reskilling, but Covid-19 has turbocharged this shift....

Desperately want to add more but cannot. But can sell my entire holding for 18.5p. SP ticking up nicely.
Demand for building materials from the homeowner market has been huge during lockdown as homeowners invest in their homes instead of going on holiday etc. I know of various manufacturers of construction materials who have lengthy lead times and flat out production at this time. But it's not a rosy picture everywhere.
The latest Building Material Stats published by the ONS was released yesterday. These are the latest figures for July. Plenty to read through. Whilst there is a bounce back in the construction sector, it's still not at the same levels of 2019 but the picture is improving each month.

Mining licence will be here sooner than you think with President John Magufuli clearly pro mining and with the latest mining reforms the target is for mining to contribute 10% GDP to the Tanzania economy by 2025. Currently contributes 3.5%. With the general election in Oct Matt Bull clearly indicated he wanted the licence granted before then. I reckon it will this month.
https://allafrica.com/stories/202008171251.html
"REFORMS initiated by President John Magufuli in the mining sector have earned Tanzania 528bn/- in 2019/20, up from 168bn/- in 2014/15
The great strides made in the mining sector are attributed to workable measures initiated by President Magufuli in managing the sector by enacting new laws that favour the country and its people, control production and mineral sales.....
...Chief Government Spokesperson, Dr Hassan Abbasi, enumerating the feats under the sector in Dar es Salaam yesterday noted that after the new law and regulations were enacted, new mining licences issued rose from 3,464 to 7,132 three years on, that being translated as a huge increase in the number of investors due to new investments.....
cannot feeking buy!!!!!!!
"According to the latest study from CV-Library, the UK’s leading independent job board, a staggering 59% of Brits have said they’re willing to reskill and retrain in a new line of work following the coronavirus pandemic; as a lack of jobs forces people to consider searching in different sectors"

Really interesting website about the largest research project in the EU.
“The Graphene Flagship is a Future and Emerging Technology Flagship by the European Commission.
With a budget of €1 billion, the Graphene Flagship represents a new form of joint, coordinated research on an unprecedented scale, forming Europe's biggest ever research initiative”
Lots of information with new of the latest research projects into graphene. Safe to say graphene can be used in a wide variety of applications. The fact the EU have invested €1 Billion into researching graphene speaks volumes.

MM drop SP hoping to gain shares and all that happened was more were bought. Decent volume again today and 7 blue days in a row. Expect volume to increase as the week goes on with due news on many fronts. Despite the recent rise in SP ACP still vastly undervalued and SP still a low price entry point for newbies.
Give you an insight into brick production, deliveries and other building material stats. Augusts statistics published tomorrow.

Sharp rise in debt will be an issue. Suggest you look at the ONS Building material stats, which are published each month. Usually published the first few days of the months. These were last months.

..."GRAPHITE China’s dominance in battery raw materials can most clearly be seen in the market for graphite, a crystalised form of the element carbon that is used in the anode of a battery. China produces 65 per cent of the world’s graphite and 86 per cent of the world’s anodes for lithium-ion batteries, according to Benchmark Mineral Intelligence. Last month Norwegian polysilicon maker Elkem said it planned to build Europe’s first graphite factory in Heroya, Norway."
It's a genious idea when you read it carefully. Only yesterday I was eating out and had to download an app to order food, such is the growing norm with COVID-19. The app didn't work so I had to find a member of staff to take my order.
An instant payment system powered by graphene, where no app is required or staff to take payment would change everything. Imagine the demand for graphite - used in every bar and restaurant globally.
The company who invented the device has an interesting website too:
