In recent communication from Mark he was keen to draw attention to the shift in strategy towards early production and again, in a recent video, stated discussions were at an advanced stage.

SP is irrelevant at this stage, we are not producing and we have large seller/s. True value will not be released until either we start reducing or company sold.

They would say that though, if they are looking to snap up smaller exploration companies!

Yes, looks like it. Guess they need the a massive re-rate here to help bail them out! Hope the administrators don't pull the plug on their investment in CNR, otherwise we will see another 3.5 million shares keeping the SP down.

I don't think Mark needs pushing to provide an update. He is extremely active and, as per an email I had from him on Friday, has been back and forth to Nicaragua 6 times in the last 8 months and two weeks ago met the Minister of Energy and Mines and other senior Government officials. We know from the RNS on 1st Feb that studies are on-going to produce gold from mini pits within the permitted La India open pit (permitted to produce 600,000 oz gold), by mining and trucking the ore to a nearby processing plant and that the proceeds will be used to apply for permits for the new Mestiza open pit and America open pit. Frustrating, but hopefully worth the wait; we just have to accept things are going on in the background. We will find out in due course.

Munchbox54, totally agree we are in safe hands and no doubt Mark will come back with a deal of some form. However, the decision to go down the route of toll refining would not have been done on a whim, and would have been discussed at board level many weeks before we found out, probably before IFC offloaded.

What I don't understand is the timing of IFC reducing their holdings, which amounts to just a quarter of their original holding.
With a member of the IFC on the Condor board, they must have been fully aware that Mark was on-route to Nicaragua to discuss a toll refining deal.
Surely it would have made economic sense to see how the talks panned out before reducing their holdings, or am I missing something?

Hence why I posted the statement I received from Mark. It appears only one plant is being considered.

I would have thought the exploration licences would have expired by now.

if the grades at La India are 4 X better than currently being processed by B2G, it would make sense for them to stockpile their rock and process ours for a 50/50 split.

Tester123, I am not worried either, in fact I too have been adding at these low levels. We should find out shortly who has been selling. Any one with a holding of just over 2.015 million shares (3% of total shares in issue), who add or sell 671K or more shares, have to notify the market by way of RNS. Would expect to see that RNS either tomorrow or early part of next week.

Purchases still going through below the mid price, thus showing as sells. My trade at just after 12pm for just over 4k of shares was a buy.
