A little bit more palatable for Rio Tinto share holders if the company was to make an offer of say 3/4 current market capital (Sp £1.50 -£2) We have got to be on their radar for sure. GLA

No shares have been placed in Canada on the TSX. Nothing to stop them buying on the AIM though so not sure why the difference?

I agree, we need to get the message out there, but that is not the purpose of a PFS. It is an early stage study to determine if the mine is viable or not. I think you will agree we have done that and some. MC travels here, there and everywhere banging the drum at forums and presentations. I would like to see the return on our investment in Canada. Slow take up over there. We need to know what our non executive director has done and is doing to raise our profile. Taken from the RNS on the 18 Jan, “He will bring a range of expertise covering the mining industry and exceptional network in Canada to the board of Canada.” Also it would be good to get some shares placed on the TSX and create a market there. Were paying money to be dual listed, let’s start getting some return. Until land purchases, funding sorted, and a plant purchased we remain an exploration company with an awful lot of land.

Why waste money on a revised pfs. We already know the project is viable hence the reason we are now steaming ahead with the project. The fact fuel costs have declined and the pog has increased only adds weight.

looking at that placing from last Jul, it was done at a premium of 25% to SP at that time. If we got to 50p and MC could convince our cornerstone investors to invest again at a 25% premium that would give us a placing at 62.5p.

Re the ruling on selling in Canada, I think that is a ruling of their market that shares purchased through a private placement have to be held for 4 months and 1 day. Thereafter they can be sold.

Tester, that is correct. The wording from the RNS on the 8th Jul last year following the £4.04 million placement last year of 20,192,520 units:
"Each Unit comprises one ordinary share of 20p each in the Company (the "Placing Shares") and one third of one share purchase warrant of the Company (a "Warrant"). Each Warrant, which is unlisted and fully transferable, will entitle the holder thereof to purchase one ordinary share at a price of 25p (which is at a 25% premium to the Placing Price) for a period of 36 months from the date on which the shares issued pursuant to the Placing are admitted to trading on AIM (the "Closing Date"). 50% of the Warrants shall be subject to an accelerated exercise period if the closing mid-market price of the ordinary shares on AIM is more than £0.30 for 10 consecutive trading days. All of the securities comprising the Units are subject to resale restrictions into Canada which will expire four months and one day from the date of issuance"

Still a possibility a fund comes in and takes a chunk of shares.

johnnytaffia May know what happened to Jibbo. JT has been here from the early days but flits in and out with his wry comments. He relied on Jibbo to give him the latest news.

Slippery, it was Fener, who talked of the golden aligator, and the £28 party. I know Jibbo moved to another resource share (name escapes me) stating he wouldn’t post anything further until Progress was made. Unfortunately it looks like he closed his account. Welsh if my memory is correct.

Condor have not placed any shares in Canada hence the low liquidity. It is something I mentioned in an email to Mark a little while ago. Until recently, there has been no point in spending cash on much marketing in Canada. I guess that has now changed and something that now needs addressing.

Surely at some stage, especially with the damage done to the travel and retail markets, we should see some institutional investors return to Condor Gold - thoughts?
