@Kato .... I don't particularly see it that way. TZM is Africa Great Wall, we know that much. In all their Moz dealing they integrate with the local communities with plenty of social initiatives. Their plans for this project appear no different so I wouldn't call this ruthless. The environmental issue would have been anticipated, this isn't their first rodeo. Sure they are hard business folk but with the environmentalists breathing down their neck they could well do without a BIT threat. For my money this still hinges on raising the threat level to a tipping point.

Interesting that the reporter didn't mention that the licenses were in dispute, perhaps they need a tip-off.

'21 half year report was published mid-September so I'd expect this at a similar time in '22. '21 full year showed £365k cash so at working capital requirement of c.£300k pa. you don't need to be Einstein to get the picture. I feel it will go one of two ways in the near future (prior to half hear results), either announcement of litigator/sale of IMM or share issue to fund '23. I'm confident that PFP are in discussions regarding the litigator, sale of IMM could be to TZM or aggressive third party. I'm not looking forward to a dilution but see it as one step back to go two steps forward. I hope that PFP see fit to offer to existing share holders in any raise.

..... I'm missing something but I cannot find Helium One mentioned as a license holder on the Tanzania Mining Cadastre Portal ( https://portal.madini.go.tz/map/ ) . Several other helium prospects/licenses are mentioned. Also not been able to find a mining license reference on the Helium One website. Very happy to be educated

Good post Investor01. The play isn't the BIT, its the threat of the BIT and any hindrance (time, cost, risk) to TZM being able develop the licenses. I have no doubt PFP have interested parties looking at buying IMM and/or pursuing the BIT on a win fee. There is no way PFP or any third party will show their hand until the time is right. A cleaner and perhaps preferable outcome is TZM buy IMM as this allows TZM to be in control as it excludes the possibility of introducing a hostile third party, but quite obviously TZM hey will only do this when it is needed. Whilst we may have to wait a bit longer I think when things move they will move quickly.

Wonder if the Moz government aided misappropriation of PFP licenses was discussed by prospective UK investors/companies ? Rhetorical question.

A painful BIT with another company may make the Moz Gov not want to travel that road again. Could lead to Moz Gov pressurising TZM to settle. Big threat to Moz Gov now (post Ukraine) is the possibility of a successful BIT claim against them gaining access to the Moz gas revenues which if Russia is blanked by the west become more and more valuable.
