Excited actually. Awaiting the next chapter. 2020......a big year.

Never written this off,or whatever some of you do, to get through it. Each to their own.
I've been angry, on occasion,.....and though I've struggled to get through this year, I still think I haven't made a bad decision, until I have..... and quite frankly, we're still going. Signs of life are there. Bold as brass.
So I, for one, am positive, and right behind Zaza and Steve.

General data protection regulation

Jimjam........If buyer has made a humongous profit in 2019....an acquisition can be set off against tax.
Like a farmer whose made 40K profit this year, might buy a new tractor for 80K....for instance. His acquisition now, would help his tax position this year and next.....by lessening profit for a necessary machine.
As long as its on paper it's happening, I don't think it necessarily matters when it's paid for, within reason.
But something signed,and dated in 2020 won't help 2019 tax year necessarily.

Anyway...I'm no tax expert.
It's just a thought.

I still think the ideal time for a company to purchase another companies asset,or company itself, is in latter part of current tax year.
So....before 31st Dec 19.
No tax advantages doing it at beginning of a new tax year...Jan Feb March.
If you're spending that much money...billion, or more, you don't want to be wasting any of it....
Mind you...NN have so much money....maybe they'd enjoy wasting a bit.....lol
