Jimmy1305 -I like being emotionally attached to Sirius - makes me interested in it, read up on it - if I wasn’t I’d never spend my spare time reading about fertilisers, macro-nutrients, mine shafts, Mpta, mineral transport systems, materials handling facilities, ships and so much more. Being emotionally attached means I can hold my own talking about mining, shares, pensions (to a point - but don’t test me)! I make no apologies, and don’t care if I’m not supposed to be - it’s also so much more interesting when you know one day it will help me pay for all those other things I’m interested in doing!

Perhaps I should also add - I have promised I won’t buy any more Sirius shares (well I’m going to really try) - because Mr Fred is worried about putting all your eggs in one basket.

I remember making a similar post when we were around 30p. Just didn’t know what to do! In the end I thought I’d rather have the amount of shares I can buy at 30p than risk less. Thought I’d feel better about having more shares than less. Obviously the wrong call! Annoying for me as I don’t have unlimited money for top ups so can’t take advantage of the low price as much as I would like to. But due to a one off top up at 23p I’ve reached a target of shares I’m happy with. But as rekrab said yesterday ‘hindsight’ - sorry if this is ‘banter’!

No - I must write more carefully - can’t see mum playing tennis - she’s 92! I answered in the middle of a match bec I always answer to her just in case of an emergency! But she was only ringing to tell me about Sirius so I had to pretend it was something important - which of course it was very important!!

My mum phoned me in the middle of a tennis match to tell me about PMQ! She said she nearly fell of her chair when she heard the words Sirius Minerals (think it woke her up) and completely missed what was said! So thank you for the link bec I can play back it to her! Must admit that to me was very positive - it’s all happening!

I completely get that a year/couple of years ago the discussions on this board about B...... were not good resulting in lots of arguements but recently the threads have been much more civilised! Hopefully we’ve gone past who voted what bec I think few people thought we would be where we are today two years down the line from the vote and we’re in a very worrying situation now where we’ve got so much uncertainty which is no good for anyone or business. So personally I am interested in how the different scenarios might affect Sirius. Whatever anyone thinks is right or wrong on here doesn’t matter bec it’s got to get through Parliament which is very frustrating for everyone however they voted or whatever they wanted. . FWIW Deepjoy, if anything I’ve always felt this board was very pro Brexit!

It’s a crucial vote tomorrow which is going to dominate everything - whatever we think it may or may not help/hinder Stage 2. Stage 2 might be finalised at the end of the week/next week/week after - no one knows anything. I’m not bothered about an update that doesn’t give me an idea of what’s happening with Stage 2 and if it’s too sensitive at the moment to update us about it I’d rather wait. I don’t think it means anything we haven’t had one - I just think it means they are continuing to build the mine and get on with Stage 2 negotiations plus cope with an extremely difficult situation in our country at the moment. I thought we had until the end of this quarter for Stage 2 to be sorted - we prob will get an update before then but I don’t really care that much - just want build to continue and hear about Stage 2

Okay .... I’ve decided I’m going to try one next time I’m in Starbucks! On another note - I feel the timing of the next update comes at a really bad time for the Company. To me whatever they say regarding Stage 2 is going to be jumped on and Stage 2 negotiations must be at such a crucial stage they prob would rather get on with it and just say nothing. Are they absolutely tied down to an update? - last year actual dates were given but am I right in thinking just the intention for updates was given this year - know shareholders will want one, quite rightly - but just wondering

He was - it really pains me to say it bec unlike every other member of my family he prob would have voted Brexit and I can only imagine the arguments (or should I say discussions) I would have had with him about it if I was lucky enough to still have him here!

Definitely building up to update whether it’s in the morning or next week with tv coverage, 3 FB posts this week, Twitter. Feel I want to say ‘good luck’ to everyone - it’s been quite a build up!

Forgot to mention that one of the reason I’m learning is the amount of times I have to spend googling basic words let alone Sirius related!

Don’t know why but I can’t get sound on my phone but will try on computer later - progress looks fantastic - I don’t think you’re sad blacksheep15! Or if you are I am as well! Not knowing what other boards were like I rem when I first started posting here I was always getting involved with other posters comments, arguing about off topic discussions and then after one weekend of arguing a chap called David posted saying he couldn’t understand posters who argued with people they didn’t know on a board like this and what a waste of time it was! I’m not sure if you’re still here David but I have tried very hard since then - maybe have the odd slip up! But one of the reasons I think this is a great board is that everyone says it as they see it and because of that it can make you think about things slightly differently and you end up learning more. And after all the vast majority of us are on the same side as far as Sirius is concerned!
