Can we have another quiz?

Can’t wait - just imagine if it’s good news! Even if it isn’t that great it can only be onwards and upwards. The trouble is this mine is now so much bigger than shareholders but here’s hoping CF & BOD remember all those shareholders that have been here since the beginning (would be good if they could remember all of us as well)!

I wrote a post and then deleted it - verging on off topic - so I’ve controlled myself this morning!

That’s your gamble. I’d rather know I’ve got my shares - just in case a lot of the investors waiting to get in talking the price down get it wrong

For the first time ever a couple of my very clever friends who have been reading up a lot on Sirius and understand the stock market have understood why I’m invested. They’ve got that it’s a very long term thing, have got that in the meantime I’m prepared to lose money and basically don’t think I’m stupid anymore! They both think that however bumpy the short term is in the long term I’ve a good chance of having shares in a very successful company and they know I will hold my nerve and understand what could go wrong. Because I’ve promised my husband, because I do realise for me I’ve got a good amount of shares, because I’m not super rich and basically have no more money to invest I do realise I can’t take advantage of this low share price and lower my average of 25.1 which is annoying. So I have to sit on my hands and just wait and continue on this rollercoaster which is a bit like the difficult scary red runs (not black) I’ve been skiing on - I just kept going and hoped for the best - just like I’m doing with Sirius!

I found that a lot easier to understand wwguk and I particularly like your example!

Thank you very much for replying wwguk - I have read it and def get the gist of it but need to read it again! - but unfortunately have to get organised for skiing tomorrow which secretly I’m a little bit scared about! (But don’t tell anyone)!

I’m not going to lie wwguk - I’m doing my best to understand your posts (Casapinos had two cups of coffee - I hit the wine)! and it has sunk in a bit that perhaps I might be even more past it at the £1 party! But going back to VERY basics now (forgive me) and the revised stages - and I think from LITC post last night - if the debt is announced and some of the uncertainty is removed so the share price goes up so that IF a placing/royalty happens existing shareholders might have the opportunity to buy more at a bargain price - the company raises more money at the same time creating more of a demand for shares. I do know that the theory of this didn’t work at Stage 1 with 20p and share price going below that but surely it’s different now two years on? I was trying to google placing v royalty to understand them and came across this headline from 2016 ‘How Sirius Minerals achieved the impossible funding’ - it also went on to mention long awaited! - I’m sure we’ll get that headline again and it will be long awaited again! It also makes me think that hopefully it might not be as bad as some people think!

In contrast to the posts you sometimes get on FB from people who have family directly working on site - always full of positivity about great progress being made!

Wish I could say what I want to say to you Kiirkgate but I won’t - not a great first post though!

Tell you what if I was an investor who was beginning to doubt - they are all out today - and I recon some will sell today on the back of some of these posts. No one knows the future but I just think you need guts to invest in a new mining company and you also can’t worry about the share price in the short term. The investors who I feel sorry for are the ones like Bythesea who have stuck by Sirius for so long and it seems they are back where they started. But they are not and it is happening - it is getting built and what they are achieving today and yesterday is still amazing - but weeks like this after all they’ve been through is tough. Made tougher by some of the wind up posts on here.

To be honest Bythesea when I read your post I wish I could re-write some of mine! I’m sorry your retirement plans re Sirius haven’t worked out for you

Just been sent the article by a friend! My problem is even in the good times I always seem to be having to justify my investment here. What can I say - ‘‘Woodsmith’ - both my mother and my own maiden names after a few months of being invested - certainly made me buy more, a strong gut feeling - I’m a lot more switched on to it all now, but that’s why I invested here at first. I always thought a mine being built would mean revised figures so I got that right but as I have just replied to my friend - this was never short term for me, always long term and I still have that same gut feeling except now I am better informed. If I couldn’t bring myself to cash in on my profit for fear of losing shares - I’m hardly going to sell now. I know she and others I know are not convinced - I know I could have played it better but I AM NOT SELLING!!!

Casapinos - I like reading everyone’s views on Sirius. It’s good to get different views and discuss them - and for someone like me it’s important to read them. Alan gets stick for his upbeat posts but I can understand why he writes them - he so believes in Sirius. It’s really not that I don’t want to read negative stuff or read about investors who are fed up and disappointed. I don’t mean to be rude as you clearly have so much knowledge but I don’t understand why you would want to spend so much time debating Sirius and I just can’t get my head around it.

I agree Mr.dt - PAAA coming up trumps. Casapinos - you’ve gone into over drive today - i still don’t understand why you feel the need to post so much I’m afraid to say I found myself skimming your posts which is very unlike me - not that I don’t want to read negative posts but you are always writing them
