I am finding it very difficult re voting/meetings. I just received an email from Charles Stanley Direct with the details of the takeover (Scheme of arrangement) although I can’t see any blue or white forms of proxy. Anyone else with Charles Stanley Direct? I’m trying to get hold of the chap but he’s in a meeting and have asked him to call me. He messaged me this morning to say he can arrange for me to attend the General meeting but not Court. Hopefully he’ll ring me back before I have to go out but it seems very late to receive the email. #thisisverycomplicsted

I always thought CF was my Robin Hood and I trusted him. I’m afraid now that trust has gone - I really never thought it would. Of course the majority of us invested in the mine because we want all the things the mine will bring to the local area but we invested in good faith for ourselves and our families as well. In the Gazette article he’s homing in again on the private investor and these boards/FB. These are really the only place we can say what we’re thinking just like when some of us we were 100% behind him - he wasn’t complaining then. We are not responsible for the decline in SP which has made this situation so much worse - why couldn’t the SP have been suspended. It’s not our fault we’re in this position. Now it seems there may be other Robin Hoods, not sure if they really are but at least they are voicing our concerns, confirming what has been worrying us all. There has been a very big unhappy potential no from many investors - I don’t like the phone calls, I don’t like the fact IBAB has suddenly disappeared after months of posting relentlessly on here, I don’t like that we are being targeted by CF again when all we have done is support and believe him up until now. I don’t think this mine will go into administration - even if it does the mine will still survive - the government will see to that - it’ll be us the PI’s that lose. Everyone must vote how they want but reading that article did nothing to make me change how I’m feeling.

What’s going on? They are like nuisance calls!

One reason I’m glad I can make the meeting is that it buys me more time. I know how I want to vote, but I am watching this day by day at the moment. Obviously those that are completely new to Sirius who bought in recently at 3p are going to have different views to me. Something drastic has got to happen for me to change the way I want to vote - the fact many SH’s are getting phone calls makes me think there’s lots of conversations going on. Let’s just hope that in this day and age that those capable of changing the outcome of this really think about the strength of feeling amongst so many SH’s and question why so many of us feel as we do and do something to change what seems like a massive injustice

Ffc - I’m sure we can meet earlier -what time do you think? She seemed quite laid back and said they weren’t usually busy then

They are quite happy for us just to have coffee - it’s an Australian coffee shop! (think I’ll have a brandy in it). I think it’s about a 4 min walk and been recommended as quite a suitable venue for what we want. She said they are not normally busy at that time

It’s not easy. There’s so many individual factors to consider. I don’t want anyone else to lose any more money over Sirius and everyone has to think about it. At the moment I’m honestly just waiting to see what transpires - I’m taking advice from ShareSoc and those working round the clock to see if there is a viable alternative. I think we as SH’s deserve that, particularly all those that supported Sirius in the early days and those in the local community. As it’s always been with me I don’t want to miss out if there is something that can be done for SH’s plus I do want to send a strong message. All those SH’s that supported pre planning that sadly aren’t even here any more - I wonder what they would think about what’s happened? It was so exciting to get to Port 30 and be part of all that - the company seemed to be in such a strong position then. It’s obvious a lot of us got emotionally attached and I’m trying to work out whose fault that was - obviously as investors we have to take some of the blame because it’s a rule not to but the dream was sold to us in so many different ways. But really who can blame investors when many have been through so much with this company - so many hurdles. Not to mention the financial sacrifices and the loss of potential dividends they could have been earning with other shares. CF sent out the message that he has overcome many things in the past and will prove all the doubters wrong. I am holding less shares than I was because for me I couldn’t risk losing all of the money and I’ve realised there are other shares out there. However I still don’t want to lose the rest which is a lot of money to me. I’m holding and at the moment and voting no because I think CF should be working round the clock with AAL to recognise that SH’s deserve a small part of Sirius future. It’s not good enough that he is not absolutely pushing for those that have been through thick and thin with him to enable them to stay part of Sirius. It’s not good enough that AAL are making no concessions and it’s like we should be grateful for 5.5p. I think most SH would accept even a small concession to enable them to continue with their investment they have made so many sacrifices for. So many that have sold would jump at the chance to reinvest part of what they originally put in. I do think it’s disgusting that even the smallest gesture towards SH’s has not been shown - and no - ‘5.5p and goodbye’ is not anywhere near the right gesture

And this business about IBAB is bothering me - why would he stop posting? I thought he was genuine - have I got that wrong as well? Supposing he was working for AAL or Sirius? Never thought I’d say that but it’s unlike him to disappear

I can’t believe IBAB was on Sirius payroll but if he was and there was an investigation everything is stored on LSE web site and could be produced. I am however puzzled by his absence and was convinced he was just interested in all the twists and turns with Sirius

The number of times the SP rose, or mostly declined sharply the day before a significant piece of news. So many commented on it at various times.

Well I’m grateful we’re having another go at this because I know in years to come if the mine is as successful as a lot of us think it’s going to be I will always think ......what if

I do have to say I tried very hard not to be influenced on here by any other posters, but maybe I was a sheep in that whenever I had niggling doubts I always went back to listening to conference calls, reading articles, ringing investor relations, u tube etc. I know it’s a company’s job to have a PR dept and promote themselves but 85,000 of us invested and so many held in spite of all the warning signs which is very unusual. What I have noticed though in the last few weeks is many of the very positive posters who posted frequently (and I do get they have probably sold and moved on) have been replaced on various social media platforms by many investors who have just held silently for many years. I did always think that there were many just holding and not posting. So many families have been so badly affected by this.

Hope you read this board! Although this might get lost because it’s very busy. Read your post re EUA last night (on other board). I just wanted to wish you the best of luck and hope EUA comes good for you. My timing re investing here was similar to yours. I also hope the news here is good for everyone!
