You are doing the right thing LTL. 90% of traders lose 90% of their money 90% of the time. Timing both a buy and sell is an impossibility as a repeatable strategy. So even getting 6p right, 99% of folk will sell too early. This needs a good 18-24 months of lending to happen as they will only build up steam slowly. 80p-£1.00 is then realistic. The run up to the SOA will feel like a seat of the pants moment and the SP will be up and down. I don t care.

On the same side.. i do like to try and look for bleak perspectives to see what comes back. I do think we might be at a turning of the tide but i m getting ready for perhaps one more dive south if results offer no new news. By mid march at the humanly latest there will be details around the proposed redress amounts plus FCA noise so that leaves 2 weeks for a step back. I believe FOMO will prevent this.

Hi thaw..yep aware of the short tracker tool thx...and would lean toward a long position also. However i believe we are all missing something here. Bybrook are not buying shares like a long term investor they are buying so they can leverage the votenat end of March. So now you ask what would a distressed debt specialist want with Amigo? Well 25% vote against the SOA forces Amigo into run off and they can take the book of business and very profitably run it down sell it on etc...not sure where the big win is for them but....this is all about the vote and surely therefore they may be jockeying to block??? A bitnof game theory for the weekend..nothing more than that.

Do CFDs affect share price?
No. A CFD or Contract For Difference is a derivative contract between you and the counterparty where you are paid for the difference in the price. It does not effect the underlying in any way and you don't officially own stock in a company. ... With a CFD you are only paid (or pay) based on the difference between prices.

Just in case there is still confusion. I can't help thinking it wasn't the buying from the II of the CFD's but they buying from folk taking this as a positive signal. What we don't know is whether the Contract was for a lower or higher price, though I suspect the latter as with most punters given the SP action. Please stand me corrected as every day has the potential to be a skool day.

Anyone on at 6p will be trading for shrapnel and likely to sell at.10p-12p if they havent already. Majority of bigger holders are in at 10-+18p and so any dips will be shortlived if there is a recovery story building.

I expect the results to be like last time aka close to irrelevant..at todays shareprice our MCap is 3m not 33m. Whick kind of says it all. I don t think posiitve noise from FCA will conveniently be delivered to suit results day..it will land sometime the other side..might be another week or two od doubters trying to shake the fsith IMO.

Very possible. I will never forget how barrick did a deal with the Tanzanian govt by buying acacia up at a huge discount at the expense of shareholders. If newcrest can manipulate a way to get this reosurce cheap then of course they will

Similar pattern to last week...trading most of the day 3-4% up but with large spread and then at closing bell its down. eventually books get balanced at end of the week with a 10% jump on trading that looked no different from the other days. I am semi-thinking the same is going to happen unless I'm seeing this incorrectly. The more it trades it above 7p the chances are it'll close above it by end of week either way.

I agree PA I think 20% is likely. That's a fair whack to say the least and a sizeable apology. Still. Plenty of money to make as the market is more than 20% bigger with Covid.
