There ll be a period of consolidation. Then rationalisation and mgt change, org redesign etc. Backdrop is less disposable income for consumers and less revenue to achieve all that. Really is a systemic issue with Boohoo in an economy likely to worsen. Verdict. Things will get worse before they get better and could be a good 3-4 years to turn this all around and grow into next economic cycle. Either cut your losses or hold for the LTerm.

I do believe Budd and the II's setting the raise at 25p to deliver LT growth. It will do. If it can start to get 10% + of the AIHL market going it will become a compelling case to buy out. A growing market with a niche product that can't fund itself = cheap takeover. Maybe a 40-50p buy out later in year or next.

What they don't have is enough cash to continue product development so plain daft to think revenue extends the runway. No it doesn't as it will go into further opportunities. If they don't invest in R&D then they are stuck with what they have and if its not selling within 12 months and making decent headway, then it never will. Important to keep investing but with what?

Furion - tell me this is wrong - March will report 3-5 NHS test sites are now buying the product which given the size of the UK market equates to circa 300-500K in sales revenue. For this to take off its has to be written into tNHS best practice. First test site in Europe also underway. This will take a full 2-3 years to start to really get proper penetration and as Budd has clearly stated the hope is that they can sell enough POC product to bridge the gap. They won't. So its another raise and herein lies the big glaring issue. the Corp strategy is long term and yet the funding is short term. You can't dress it up whether you're in this stock or not. The Costs do not align with revenue. You either sell more or cut costs and so until there is a Mgt shake-up or the business gets sold and put on a sustainable footing, its just a speculative gamble short term or you top draw this for the long term. I don't think I want to do that until Budd is gone as he is the main cost!

I did chime up and say that there won t be sales updates until Spring. That was because Budd explicitly stated that in an RNS. All the clutter on here suggesting otherwise was fantasy. Further i might say the last RI was not fully taken up...what does that suggest? To me it suggests a lack of investors wanting to risk this. Only sales can keep the business going and now its binary 12-15p or £1+ dependent on March update. My money is on the former.

If Creditors follow the recommendation of their committee the court will be hard pushed to decline their wishes with Amigo following instruction from last hearing. The FCA want customers to be paid out compensation as soon as possible - Treating customers fairly etc - They have also had a business plan regarding Amigos intended lending products and processes since November. So if the FCA are dead set against Amigo surviving, they really ought to have pulled the plug on them 1 year ago and got customers some redress moving. May I also quote the judge which I recall Rosie misstating as always "we are not saying no to any Scheme, just to this Scheme". Amigo have proposed to deeply restructure the business and have taken on advice from the court to engage customers. Tick and Tick. What I would advise is to ignore the negative echo chamber and to forget the SP which is on the floor and helps evil minded people to twist facts come up with their own narrative and basically behave all anonymously like a cowardly troll whilst pretending to be reasonable. Mentally ill. Now back to it. I;m not a sage and I can't say Amigo will survive but what I can say 100% truthfully is that is has never had a better chance of getting through this than right now and that is with the courts support and the FCA's. Amigo have not been encouraged to go to court and waste a year sitting on a pile of customer cash with out both of those institutions condoning it. I don't agree that GJ has done a great job here but I do believe he's done his absolute best. (him and his missus have over 1,000,0000 shares themselves don't forget).

Curiously i think Gov policy is playing into the hands of the virus. The more we mix the more opportunites it has to mutate. Not all future strains will be pleasant and so i d ignore the noise and remain optimistic about this. There will be lethargy for constant jabbing and noise of mild strains brings complacency. You watch how quick sentiment can swing back in favour of testing regimes.

Who's to say, the SP post court, heavy fine (with structured payments) and restricted lending that Amigo won't be 20+p. The MCAP does not reflect the value of any business, or you wouldn't have most of the States with x30 valuations + currently in a huge bubble. Sentiment alone can see the SP up whether one believes the implied valuation or not. A 20/1 dilution means a raise at 1p. Doesn't mean the SP needs to crash to 1p just could lead to a massively discounted offer to existing shareholders.

I agree Gloria - I genuinely think this will do well. I just think its an LT bet. The SP if you are an LT holder shouldn't matter as its clearly going to be volatile and it is what it is. You can't guess the markets!

Starrenstoff - great. Selecting a commercial partner, getting the legals sorted, then actually doing meaningful deals that get procured through the end businesses..mate that takes a LONG time. Its not selling boxes of TWIX out of a Burger Van, its slow complex technical sales. That's why this is all total noise and nonsense about Sales. Zero % chance of Genedrive being self sufficient anytime soon, but I think the company LT has a great future. I suspect it won't be Genedrive by that point though.

POC testing global market for Covid is worth billions globally over the next few years. Genedrive is a small business with a tiny sales team and it'll be very slow and difficult to get sales moving. I agree that a deadly variant will put a flame under this and quite frankly with everyone dropping their guard and mixing. You'll get news of other variants and concerns about their potency every few months and so POC testing I see as an "assurance" to consumers that they are being kept safe and given a sh8t about. I think this is a long term business that is constantly raising money for the short term and that's the problem here. It smacks of a business that will get sold on the cheap and is waiting for that to happen. The rest is all noise until that time comes.

If you can t afford.to take them up then sell the rights on and get something back at least...you have .9+ months to raise funds and take part. If you re in at 30p+ top draw them and come back in 5 years. You ll probably be surprised.

Christ alive. Of course it means dilution. But you ll own the same amount. Many more shares in a much bigger pie= likely speaking, roughly the same amount you currently own as a proportion of overall business pre dilution. If you don t take up your rights then sell them on when the time comes or just bail out now.

There are some remarkably thick people here talking nonsense. The dilution doesn t matter if you take up your rights. Otherwise yes you are screwed. 300m is the intended raise with a new set of digital products the most past of which will be a new brand clear of past issues. I suspect the raise will be discounted to shareholders. If you believe in the future prospects the accumulate.at cheap.prices and fully take up the extra rights. On a raise and relending the sp rerates anyway. If you don t beleive amgo survives then simply F Off on the next stock. I repeat the dilution is irrelevant AS LONG AS YOU TAKE UP YOUR RIGHtS FFS.
